1.      小儿科（戏谑语，不是pediatry或者baby doctor）

建议一：译为mickey mouse最妙（来自华狄斯耐漫漫画家的米老鼠）。

例析：It is mickey mouse.或者It is mickey mouse stuff.

建议二：译为a little leaguer（来自垒球，意即比职业性的major leaguer来说，少青队当然是小儿科啦。）

例析：In my mind he is a little leaguer.

自谦时，可以使用I am only a little leaguer.相当于It’s nothing.或者It is not worth mentioning.

建议三：It’s child’s play, or, it is kid stuff.

其他类似的表达：trite, trival, petty stuff

2. 小意思（客气话，送礼物时的自谦语）

建议例析：This is my token appreciation of the help you have given me.

加注：在表达对某个任务的不以为然的时候，相关表达如下：
