The Fish in the Bible

Bible Foundation's logo is the fish in the Bible. The fish has been an important symbol in Christianity since the early Church. The fish symbol is based on the Greek word, ichthus, which means fish, and is an acronym in Greek for "Jesus Christ, Son of God, Saviour." The fish in the book is based on John 5:39 and Luke 24:27.

• John 5:39, Search the scrīptures; for in them you think you have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
• Luke 24:27, And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scrīptures the things concerning himself.
