It seems to be a rule, at least in our school: Before we can enjoy a
long holiday, we must spend a longer continuous period on study at
first.

Dd#q,i3E0After taking a 8-day-week of classes, there came the expecting
7-day holiday. Unfortunately, I must dedicate 3 days out of my holiday
to the college--I'm on duty the first 3 days of May, to sit in the
corridor of the dormitory building in case of a theft may sneak in.
What's even worse, the building which I am in charge is not the one I
live in.

hn)q(r0It takes me several minutes going there. And I must bring my
chair along with me, or else I have to stand from 8:00 to 12:00am, then
from 2:00 to 5:30pm , then from 7:00 to 9:00pm. But I didn't bring my
chair. You see, I have to carry a bag with some books, a coat (It's
very hot outside, while it's very cool , even cold inside. So I have to
bring a coat with me.), addition to a chair. They are so heavy. And I
feel it's very strange to wander around with a chair carried. I thought
I could borrow one.中国英语博客基地(English Blogs-英语麦当劳博客空间)(n7[uqDp'v
But the fact is always against people's thought . I tried three times
yesterday. Yes, the first time I succeeded. I borrowed a chair from the
supervising room, but the supervisor reminded me several times that I
had to return it to her when I left. It's just a chair, it can't be
eaten, can't be drunk. Of course, I of course would return it to her.中国英语博客基地(English Blogs-英语麦当劳博客空间)#@ _pe4~-j*G2?
The second and third time were more frustrated. Both of them said they
didn't know whether they would stay in. I just couldn't understand. If
I were them, I'm sure I will lend one to them. If I really have to go
out , I can ask them to return it to me the moment I am leaving. Why
couldn't they do like this? 中国英语博客基地(English Blogs-英语麦当劳博客空间)6dIP1A;L1O/S
That was my experence of yesterday. I was really let down. But this
morning, I didn't bring my chair either. I just couldn't believe there
was no kind-hearted guy. Or , the worsest thing was I stood there for 4
hours. It was no big deal.
3g~Vvr0But this time , I met a kind-hearted girl at last. She carried a chair
for me and said I could also borrow it in the afternoon. She could
nerve know how moved I was. You see, yesterday, I mustered up courage ,
knocked their doors ,wore a big smile, asked them to lend me a chair.
But they didn't. While she was not like them.
