Amazing Travel in Shanghai and Hongkong

Shanghai was suffered a typhoon on 19th of August. Luckily no one hurt during the rain storm attcking the city. I was even luckier that i took a air plane to go to Shanghai from Tianjin on 20th morning.I was too careless that i forgot my umbrella. But to my surprise, the rain stopped when i arrived.
I took a bus from Hongqiao Airport to my hotel. The fee for bus is more than in Beijing and Tianjin.In the evening, i went to Hengshan Street which is full of bars. But i really prefer bars in Beijing and Tianjin because the waiter would like to cheat me.
First my friends and I ordered a jar of Coke. Later when we want to enjoy the show of dirty dance the waiter asked the minimum expense of a seat. But we didn't know prior there is a minimum expense and there is no sign shows the accurate price of such expense.So we decided to dance in the dancing floor.
Most people praised the Huangpu River in Shanghai. But to be Honest, there is not something special. In fact, Tianjin has better view of River and European archetecture.
The best part of this city is shopping. i have half southern blood so my feet is in small size. In Shanghai many shoes and clothes have XS size. Usually i can only find XL or XXL in North. It is a paradise of shopping for me!I was really lucky that there was a air express from Shanghai to Hongkong. and what's more, i am a membership of a ticket agency on line. So the price is so cheap that i only paid 1000 yuan for the air ticket to go to Hongkong.
I love hongkong's traffic very much. Although it is left side, there are some words written on the ground to instruct people to watch out and also show the direction. Most the roads are one-way. The streets are not so long so that if ther is a traffic jam we can change to other ways. This is similar to Tianjin's traffic. Imagine in Beijing it is impossible because the streets are too long.
It's a pitty that i havent taken the bus of Hongkong. But taxi is not too expensive and very convenient.There is a lot of room in taxi and trains. We can buy train tickets on the machine. Press the button of the place you want to go, then input the information of the ticket, you will see the price. Put your money in then u get the ticket and change.We only have to show the tickets to the machine when we get out the train station.
No one was standing at the entrance to check the tickets.It was quite expensive to live and eat out in Hongkong. The hotel also ask tax which is 10% to 15% more. The room is so tiny and not reasonable. Finally i know why women can enjoy food and lose weight in Hongkong. The amount of food is small but the price is high. In addition, we have to use the thin bed.
I lost 3 kilos there easily. I wonder why the airconditions work too much in the shopping centres and other shops. The weather is wet and hot in Hongkong. When u walk on the Nathan Road where lots of shops are, u will feel half of your body is cold and the other half is hot. I can't choose carefully when i was in the clothes shops and can't spend more time in restaurant because of the AC. But Hongkong's toilet is not so cold. I guess people only prefer to relax there!
My favorite parts of Hongkong is Japaness Restaurants. They are the cheapest and most relaxest. In hongkong, Cantonese and English is more useful than Mandarin. usually people can't speak fluent English even the policemen. Some times they speak Cantonese to me and made me dizzy.
I can't not understand them by language.Fortunately, i can hear better English in Disneyland of Hongkong. I really enjoy myself when i saw the 3D movies because it was in English. But the theatre's show sometimes troubles me because they mix the English and Cantonese together. And the western food in Disneyland is much better than in downtown. Usually we had to guess what we ate in the western food restaurants. The names of the dishes were not according to the reality.
It was fantastic that we went to Victoria Harbor during the Mid-Autumn Festival. We can enjoy the Chinese traditional dance and lantern performance. I love the view of Harbor very much.
You can also buy fresh juice and curries on the streets. There are enough choices and reasonable prices.Go along the harbor we attened the Avenue of Stars. There you can make the figure of your hands by wax.
It was also very convenient that you can use credit cards almost everywhere in Hongkong. I found it funny that although Hongkong's gold is a bit cheaper than in Mainland, they are so clever that they also add the service fee to the price.
Some styles are really modern, but often the jewelry is designed too traditional. Next time i must go to the Ocean Park 
and Taiping Mountain to enjoy the view of Victoria Harbor's view from the top. -
My First Violence!

Last Friday was really hot and dry. I had left home early to wait for the bus so that I won't miss the train at the new temporary train station. To my surprise, i had been waiting for No.847 bus for over 40 minutes. All the people began to feel doubtful that we asked each other if the bus had changed the stop to other places. Suddenly it came but of course it was full of people!
As the door opened, I went on the bus and then paid. It was really narrow. I can only hold the bar near the driver. Can you try to imagine that all the bars are occupied by hands? At this time two old ladies came on the bus too. They couldn't find a place to grasp. And it seemed that they wanted to catch the train too. Although i was hot and there is little space for me to move, I decided to save more room for them.
Fortunately, I found a seat that i could hold. In that case, I would save more room. Just when I extended my arm to that seat, a man besides stopped my hand with his body. At first, I thought maybe because of the shaking of the bus. Later I realized that he did it on purpose.
And what's more, he pushed me by his elbows and arms. I nearly fell for this so I asked," What are you doing?" He explained he needed more space and leted me keep still. I said if he could help me to find a place to grasp. I won't go to his side. To my surprise, he just stand still and sticked on his words impolitely," I won't let you move here!"I was really angry. This is the first time I saw such a bad man. He is in his early 30s and I am over 26. I didn't feel like being treated as a lady. So I Shouted," You are non-educated even in your own family!" He also turned his face to me and pointed his finger onto my face and my nose...and I remember he aslo abused the language a little like" fuck" or "shit"...
You know I feel great insult and put his finger away and hit his left cheek with my left fist quickly. You should see his facial expression. He showed great suprise and really felt ashamed. Anyway he touched me first and he didn't know I can play Taekwondo well.
In fact, I have been the Black Belt of World Taekwondo Federation since 6 years ago.I thought he might understand what he did. But I was wrong. Just after I hit his cheek, some people get off the bus so that it was not narrow as before. He turned to me again although I have changed my position and direction. This time he tried to frighten me by making a pose which looked like he would beat me to death," I can slap you to lash!"
Well, I should thank him for that performance. Usually I know if the oppenent are weak or not. I didn't blink my eyes because I didnt afraid of him at all. In addition I smiled at him," If you won't fight me, you will be a piece of shit..."
But he really went into my trap and did something like a kid: he continue to push me by his arms and hit my face with his water-bottle but gently.Hahaha...I pushed him down and hit his eyes and belly with my fists.Until then, some of the male passengers began to stood up and joined me finally... Acturally, I had been waiting for them for long. I couldn't understand why they watched the bad guy affonting a beautiful lady in public for that long. If I were them, I won't look on with folded arms because girls are obviously weaker than men. If I don't know how to protect myself, I can only feel the society is too cold to live in for most people have no warm heart.

Why did I return to the college?

I graduated from Nankai University 5 years ago. At that time it was really easy for me to transfer into a 2-year programme from which i could have got a Bachelor Degree. But i would like to have more working experience and study abroad. And what's more, England refused my application for visa for two times. So I found a job as an English teacher for kids.
You know, as an only child i dont have any feelings of kids. I can say i am good at communicating with the adults. But I didnt know if i was suitable for that job. To my surprise, i was really popular among my students and their parents. But why I returned to a college last year? I think that to be an English teacher is not all my life!
My former major is Public Relations and Modern Secretary. I did like the major, but in recent China, most of the people don't really understand my major. In fact the success of holding the 2008's Olympic Game is due to successful Public Relations. If Chinese government still couldn't have realized the importance of it, maybe next year we wouldn't enjoy the Game in our hometown!
Back to the thesis, I realized that my English is getting less and less, because I often teach simple daily conversations. In addition, if I want to work as a staff of PR Dep.,I should find a foreign company in China or overseas. So my English can't be enough then. Yes, return to the college and get a BA Degree of English. It sounds very easy but really hard for a fulltime teacher.
I've never been in an English major before. And most of my English has been removing day by day. But time was the biggest problem for me.I couldn't register some courses for the entry exams and have less time when I competed with new graduaters. So I failed the first two times.
Acturally, there are other reasons for me to study in an English major. First, I can learn the third forgein language besides English and French. Second, I want to change my life and live simply. Third, I can master English well and get a BA Degree after 2 years studying and work in the overseas.
