On Achievenments and Dreams

    It sometimes seems that intense desire creats not only its own opportunities, but its own talents.
    有时强烈的欲望不仅能够创造机会，还能激发人的聪明才智。

    We feel free when we escape-- even if it be but from the frying pan to the fire.
    当我们逃避的时候，我们总会觉得得到了解脱----哪怕是从一种不太难受的环境逃避到一种更加难受的境界。

    There whould be no society if living together depended upon understanding each other.
    如果生活在同一片蓝天下的人们不能互相理解的话，这样还能称为社会吗？

    The only way to predict the future is to have power to shape the future.
    预见将来唯一的方法就是利用自己的能力来塑造将来。

    No matter what our achievements might be, we think well ourselves only in rare moments. We need people to bear witness against our inner judge, who keeps book on our shortcomings and transgressions. We need people to convince us that we are not as bad as we think we are.
     不管我们的成就怎样，我们只会在较少的情况下会认为我们会很棒。我们需要别人来给我们作评判，他们能够发现我们的弱点和错误。我们需要别人告诉我们自己并不是自己想象中的那样糟。

    You can discover what your enemy fears most by observing the means he uses to frighten you.
    你可以通过观察对手吓唬你的方法知道他最害怕什么。

    The leader has to be practical and a reaklist, yet must talk the language of the visionary and the idealist.
    领导者行为上必须注重实际，但语言上却需要表达理想的境界。

    In a time of drastic change it is the learners who inherit the future. The learned usually find themselves equipped to live in a world that no longer exists.
    在事情急剧变化的时候，只有善于学习的人才能去得到未来。他们会发现自己生活在以前不曾有过的世界里。

    We do not really feel grateful toward those who make our dreams come true; they ruin our dreams.
    我们对那些让我们梦想成真的人并不心存感激，因为他们已经破坏了我们的美梦。

    We need our own dreams.
    我们需要有自己的美梦。

p.s.: I suddenly wonder if we'll really happy after all our dreams have come true. If we have been seeking our dreams for our whole life, then what can we do after we fufill it? It's so good to have dreams in our life journey, isn't it?
