Friends and Colleague

     Everyday, we may come across hundreds of people. Some of them we know about, but much of them we don't.
And some of them we call as "friend\" or "enermy", while others are "colleague" or "stranger".

    Then I'm wodering: what is the definition of the "frind" and "colleague". Is there a boundary between them?

    I have a colleague, she always put emphasis on "They're my true friends" when mention friend. On the contrary, emphasize "we are just colleague" when mention us-- her colleagues.

    I don't really understand is there a need to stress the boundary since we all know of it? Though we are not true friends, but it still uncomfatable when hearing the emphsis. No wonder she is very unpopular among her colleagues.

    But I do know that there is a difference between the "friend" and "colleague". That is, we may have to mask ourselves in front of the colleague, while we can be ourselves and show the true of us when we are with friends. Since there are competition among the colleagues and us, and we can't make sure if they're actually our enemies.

    However, there's no doubt that to make it clear among the colleagues will do no good to you. Anyway, we may become friends from colleagues, isn't it possible?
