what is the definition of the friend?

I always ask myself this question. Some people say there is no platonic friendship, maybe they are right but I don’t agree with them.    

    In my opinion,friendship is a relationship that can last life. A real friend is someone who will help you when you are in trouble, you are friends come what way. there are many fair-weather friends in our real life,they are your friends when everything is OK;if you have any problems they don't contact you until everything is ok again. As a matter of fact, I'd rather not know this kind of people.
