Be a Good Man

Since the day before yesterday I heard of this short conversation that a young poor man talked to a woman that to earn money was the easiest thing for him in the world with the reply from the lady that to boast just was the easiest thing. I ever don’t forget that talk during the 36 hours, and I sure believer I won’t forget that forever. As I see it, it’s not a common statement, which contains something philosophic to the life. It’s worth taking time to consider something at the back of it.

Look within your heart, then ask yourself, what’s the easiest thing for you in the world. Different people have different opinions. Take, for example, as for me, the easiest is nothing on the earth. I’ve never found a thing easiest to do, man and boy. Even I can’t do the so-called easiest thing in other people’s mind. I broke the bowls at the table, was made to pay through the nose by the peddlers, took three for eight in math in my childhood. when I grew up, I forgot my girl’s birthday even though we always stayed together; I forgot to make a call to my father when I was out studying far away from them who are so concerned about my life, my study and my prospects; I even couldn’t open a bottle of wine.

Maybe I’m simply a man that lacks for abilities. Even a little stone tripped me over. Not a single thing is easy for me to do. To do a better thing, to make a major success, needs patience, energy and wisdom. Of course you can boast that you can do A you can do B without any difficulty. All right! You’ve done it, but did you do it right, do you think it’s perfect?

A million things are waiting for me on my way to my dreams; A million dark nights are waiting for me to go through; A million people are waiting to see my laughingstocks. Not a single thing is easy in the world, of course you can boast, not a single thing is easy in the world, if you are 100 percent a person of weakness, not a single thing is easy because you have been fighting against it. Even so, a disabled sportsman can win Olympic championship; a handy ordinary climber can climb Everest Mount in the awful weather; A barren desert can become a hopeful oasis. What makes them do those things, what changes their mind which help them to realize their dreams. That is twinkling wisdom, strong will, as well as your hands and feet.

A lot of things are piled around me. But what I should do is to raise my head and walk bravely through all the troubles, a little by a little, a step by a step. One day will come, either I fail or I succeed. But if I don’t face the facts in my life and do my heart out, I never realize my dreams. once I was rude, unpleasant man who didn’t know his ways around. However, I had an idea at the back of my mind, two years ago, when I was thinking about my life and my prospects, that be a man, play the man, a man that is honest, modest, cautious with his feet on the ground. I guess I’ve got a little bit success because I start to hear somebody praise me sincerely. Certainly I won’t get carried away for that.

My friends, be a man with his feet on the ground. Do even a little thing with much good care. Boasting about yourself perhaps makes you happy, makes you more cool, more brilliant. But that is just a balloon, which fly here and there without a place to stay, without an aim to chase after. I hope the honest, realistic people can go the distance and do a good job.
