Before and After the Iraq War

[Before March Twentieth Two Thousand Three]

Here is not Paradise, nor Hell.

But, we have our own stage by which we demonstrate our ability and talents.

And we have books and schools in which we are trained to be more capable and smart.

Still we have delicious restaurants crowded streets and grand buildings in which we enjoy ourselves.

What else do we have besides these?

We have Allah, we have grandparents, parents and brothers and sisters, and we have a whole and nice family.

Here is not Paradise, but Hell.

Here are no blue skies, no white clouds, but thick smoke rolling up, gunfire and dark days.

Here is no laughter, not to mention happiness, but there are bloody battles and dead bodies.

Here is no peace for people, for peace has gone into pieces under naked power politics.

What else do we have to lose besides these?

We have Allah, but we lose homes, we lose relations, we lose lives and everything. Now you have anything you want, tell me what else you want to take from us, tell me, tell me...
