钱...没有.......了......吗?

     俗话说,有钱能使鬼推磨,人人都希望有a moneyed existence/a big sum/barrels of money,因为可以prodigal/lavish/dissipate/squander/splurge/splash(挥霍)/muddle away a fortune/spend money like water/live beyond one's means.那当我们国家经历一个a period of austerity(经济紧缩的时期)/,处于in a financial straits(distress)/stringent economic conditions(财政困境)呢?我们就该pin and scrape(省吃俭用)/provident/frugal/thirfty/stint oneself/stint sb in(of)money/live within one's means/make one's ends meet了吧,哎.谁叫我们hard-pressed for money,需要a fat injection of money呢?要生活在这个社会,food and bills nibble away our savings,the extravagent life style plunged us into debt.人真的很不容易吧.

      不管有钱没钱,最重要的是有志气.当然别忘了,哪天你富有了,千万不要做个penny pincher(守财奴),没钱的时候也不能成为money grubber(见钱眼开的吝啬鬼)/a money-grubbing old skinflint(见钱眼开的老吝啬鬼)哦.

(呵呵,我能记录有关的"钱"的用语就这么多了，把它们拼成这么一段话,似乎有点寒碜,能够用得上是最好的,不是吗?)
