    Walking along the west phoenix tree road in our school, I heard this fair-sounding song. It's finger-popping! Though I couldn't understand its lyric, I felt very well~ And now, I recommend it to you with both feet!

   

     Recently, we have many and many final exams, and in order to prepare for them, I feel very tired now! Why we have to learn so many courses?! Amounts of students didn't learn them in class, and I think they are just some forms! Our precious time was wasted by them!

     Whether it is necessary for our education department to have a revolution? I think they should consider it carefully. It is better to learn one course we like than to learn so many dull courses!

 

   From feebe's English room, I have learned some good proverbs as follows:

   "The first step is always the hardest!" yesterday, I thinked that it is said like this: everything always begins with difficulty! And now, I know the right words~

   "No pain, no gain!" In the cet6 exam some days ago, I wrote the sentence in my composition. But unluckily, I mistook "pain" as "pains"

   "You reap what you sow!" I think it's similar to the proverb: hard work can make up for a lace of intelligence! yes, very right!

If you are the 200th person coming into my sapce, please leave your name, for that I think we are predestined! Ahha~

       We had a swimming class at noon today. I couldn’t swim at all, but I still try my best to learn it. Of course, as a novice, I met many problems, such as how to avoid being coughed by the water, how to keep afloat, and so on. I absorbed much water the first time I swam under water, and really felt very afflictive. As a result, I was learning to breathe out under water the whole two hours, and surely I drank much water!

       On the whole, I have courage to run into the water now, and I have stepped out the first step! Celebrating for my improvement!

       This afternoon, I went to the undergraduate department of our institute to meet the tutor. Mrs Ji gave me many good suggestions about my job in the past one year. She told me that when I consider the problems I should proceed from the overall interests. As a monitor, what I should do isn’t just making effort, and also including that arranging the tasks for other commissaries. I should learn to divide the work well, and try to make everyone in our class be annealed.

       In faith, usually I finished the tasks by myself, for that I didn’t have confidence in them. Ji said to me, first I should know what advantages they have, and I can arrange the work according to their strong points. For instance, WH is very responsible for the study, so I can assign similar work to him. In a word, fulfilling their own responsibilities, and I give them a hand when they are very busy. Don't to be too tired. I'm a man, not the God!

       Frankly, everyone can get much experience on the post. And I should cherish it.

    We learned this song three years ago. In my mind, we whole class learned it together at dusk. Everyone liked it very much, and now it is still impressively for me.

       This afternoon, we had the cet6 exam. I haven’t taken an English examination for half a year! And today, the whole feeling was just ok. If I can get 400 scores, I think it’s my good luck! Ah ha~

        Waiting for the answers of the exam…

        Tomorrow, we’ll have the examination of Data Structure. It’s a very difficult course! Pray for myself^^^

     

        Haven’t written diary so long, I feel very not well. And now I have a little dislike about the “englishcn”, for that it is always servicing!

        Recently, we’ll have many examinations, and I have to prepare for it carefully. I have owed too much, and didn’t finish the tasks of many courses. Now I have to learn them quickly. So tired….

        Now I feel a little strange to write it, maybe I have lost much sense in recent days. I’ll persevere in writing diary from now on.

        Tonight, we student union held the last regular meeting of the ministers. On the whole, it was very successful. Everyone made a summarization, and all were excellent.            

        In my summarization, I referred to attitude again! Attitude can decide everything. This time I realized its importance once more! Maoweixuan and Liangjinyi will go to Hongkong as the communicating students, and Zhangxiaoyin will go to Taiwan also as these students. What inspired me is that all of their behaves are very excellent in their spare time, and they are active in every thing! They always keep the positive attitude in their life. And now they get so good opportunity! Frankly, I envy them very much~

        Don’t say that god doesn’t give you chances, and don’t complain that you have no time! It’s equal for everyone on the earth, and what you should do is analyzing the reason on yourself! No pains, no gains……

        What should I do? Sparing a little time, reflect on myself, and be quick!

Just now, I read a net friend’s msn. Her msn is very beautiful, and what’s important, I know that her class is very good! I saw some photos of her class. For example, they took a picture on the lawn, and the attractive point is that they had pose a shape of five-point stars! So beautiful! So united!

Why our class can’t be like this? Can there be some day for us??

   

       Last Sunday, we had the final exam of Analogical Electronic Technology. Though I had tried my best to review it, I didn’t answer it well. From the exam, I found that effort in usual times is very important! Cramping for an subject just could help you get through the exam, and you can’t get high scores.

       In recent days, I need to learn all the courses that I didn’t learn before carefully. If I don’t make effort to learn them, it’s likely that I’ll fail to pass the final exam. That is not a good thing! No one wants to meet with the trouble!

       Meantime, sparing time to prepare the social practice in summer holiday with my friends is very necessary! No pains, no gains. Ah ha~

  I really want to write something, but the free time is limited! Heart-struck.

 

        The first time to show an English representation in our English class today, I felt a little excited. I had prepared for it last night, and it took me nearly five hours to complete it. In class, standing on the platform, I could hardly contain my excitement, as a result, I stated very fast, and the students in the audience were very surprised! But luckily, my voice was very loud, and I had made many gestures to attract the audience. After the representation, my teacher praised me for my preparation with great care.

        After class, reflecting on my own representation, I found that I have to improve myself in two aspects. The first is that I should try to slow down my speed, because the audience couldn’t follow me if I speak too fast. The other is that I should make effort to acquire good habits! When I sat down under the platform, I reminded myself to notice my expression in my eyes, my action on the platform, and pay attention to not to be humpbacked! But, after I stepped on the platform, I forgot all these matters to be attended to. I conclude that we should have good habits in ordinary times! If you want to pay attention to you action in special occasion, you are fated to fail!

        Try to lead to the habit of excellence in usual times, and let our habit be more excellent!

   

      At noon today, our Student Union got together to have lunch at Yuantaizhu –so-called separate meal again.

      All the ministers appeared. We drank, meanwhile talked something about Student Union’s future. From the conversation, I just know that Maoweixuan and Lihaiteng would run for the chairman, and others have no intent. Maybe they haven’t maken their decision yet. Suppose I change the subject. Some ministers visited each and ever table to propose a toast, but I didn’t do it, I felt uncomfortable today. At last, feeling sorry for that we physical department haven’t drunk a toast to the presidium, I, Zhulin, and Jinhaozheng toasted to them together. Unfortunately, I drank three glass of beer without interval! Affixing that my physical discomfort, I sick up in no time. Later, I felt a little well, and I didn’t have courage to drink any more.

      After lunch, many friends were drunk, including some heavy drinkers, such as Yangyongwang and Taozi. Though being drunk was very afflictive, we felt very happy! This is a celebration I’ll remember for a long time!       1:00clock, 4th.Jun

      So happy today!~

      This night, we physical department forgathered in Jiulong restaurant – so called disbanding meal. All the underlings show their heads on time. At the dinner, we didn’t talk about what we have do in physical department in this year, instead we just chat about some physical matches, such as NBA, FIFA. Maybe all of us are so tired over the past year, and we don’t want to refer to it any more, at least I think we have done something insignificant, though for sure we have finished many tasks faultlessly. If I was the chairman, I’ll innovate completely! In my opinion, we work in Student Union, and in the nature of things we should try our best to work for the students, but we can’t forget that our regular work is study! Our time is limited, so our activities should be appropriate, not an amount of things! We should condense it! But, I won’t continue to stay there.. Oh, I have said too much about Student Union, and just stop here.

       The supper ended very late, and then we came to the lawn in the south in our school. We sat on the grass to chat. Later, Wangyang and Huzhe taught me martial art –Sanshou, which I liked very much when I was a child. At last, unfortunately, they took me as a prong, I didn’t expect it before! My waist is still very painful now, and what’s more worse, my mobile phone was broken, for it was pressed too much, and now its screen become while. In such a cool night, under such beautiful sky, and with our lovely people, I didn’t care it at all. Happy is the most important!

       All of our underlings are lovely. We have been together for one year, and I have to say that time goes so fast! The truth always like this: we don’t know that the time we were together is precious, but suddenly we find that how beautiful it was when we lost it, and today it happened again! Boys and girls in our department, I love U!

 

    I know what I should do, and I know what is the most important for me, but still I don't want to do it.. In a word, in bad mood..Maybe tomorrow will be ok, or not. Don't everyone will be like this? Really hope that I will be "normal quickly!

Abstract: The movie <<Legally Blonde>> feedback that college life in America is rich and colorful. Extracurricular plays an important role as the study in the American college students’ life. They can choose course freely, and use the predominant teaching equipment. At the same time, they are responsible for themselves—they finish the homework on time, and try to be positive in searching, practice and so on. After class, the American college students take part in activities, join in fraternities or sororities, actively participate in athletic sports, and find part-time job, some students even do business! Why do they do like this? The reason is very easy, just that they want to improve self capability through these actions, so they can compete more dominantly with other opponents in future. In a word, policies in the American universities are predominant, and the American college students are outstanding. College life in America is so nice that we should try to learn to them.

Introduction: From the movie <<Legally Blonde>>, we find that the college life in the USA is rich and colorful. Learning is just part of their living, and they spend half of their time taking part in activities, what’s more, these students behave excellently not only in class but also after class. After all, it is four years’ experience in the university, but no one hundred and twenty credit hour! Anyway, extracurricular is as important as their study in America.

Now, I will analyze their college life in class and after school.

 

Topic: As the American universities have carried out many ascendant policies, the American students have positive attitude in class.

Nowadays, American universities’ strength is very strong, and its higher education is welfare for all the American people! Maybe you have heard that most of the universities can get abundant endowment from industries, alumni groups, individual donors. So a large of fortune has been cumulated by these schools. Taking Harvard University for example, more than ten billion dollar is in its fund, and that they have payoff every year. By using the money, the universities launch kinds of scholarship for outstanding students, pay higher salary to engage the best professors, build science garden, and so on. With the universities’ so many sound policies, the American college students have positive attitude in class.

Subtopic1: The American college students have enough freedom in selecting a major, and they can get help from the college’s career guidance department.

Firstly, the American students hold enough freedom in choosing their major classes, and they can get help from the college’s career guidance department. Different person has different interest. Usually selecting a major is one of the toughest tasks for them! On the one hand, they want to choose the “hot” subjects in the USA, so they can get a good job in future. On the other hand, the “hot” subjects aren’t in their interest! Luckily, they can decide their fate by consulting the career guidance department. The department will take a battery of tests on them to find out what motivate an interest them most, and from the results of these tests, qualified career counselors set students on the path of choosing courses.

Subtopic2: The American college students have predominant studying condition.

Secondly, the students have excellent studying conditions. Though America’s basic education is not so good, it can bring up high level person with ability! The reason is very brief—not to need to be supervised and urged, the good students will study hard, and that they have impayable studying conditions. For example, under the universities’ several and free education system, good students can get satisfying develop room, and they can grip prominent skill to adapt the complicated society. There is a more idiographic example in the American universities. The universities have built on-limits network-classroom, so all the students can make good use of the resource freely.

Subtopic3: The American college students always finish their homework on time.

The third is that nearly all of the students can finish the homework on time. Talking about American students’ homework, the teachers usually explain the principle of disposing homework to the students. The students will feel insignificant if they don’t realize the importance. So teachers will explain the meaning to their students at the beginning of year. Then, what’s the homework? I think this is a prominent feature in the USA. As long as I know, the content of the homework is confirmed by the teachers according to the request of the teaching material, the interest or like of the students, even the stream of times! Because of this, the homework is rich and interesting. Some is difficult, and other is unique in form, all the homework isn’t limited to what they have learned that day. If you want to finish it very well, you must beat your brains carefully! High grade is based on originality!  In this way, the students aren’t sick of the dull homework, instead they are willing to finish it on time, even in advance!

Subtopic4: The American college students are good at doubting, brave to search, and paying great attention to practice.

The most revelatory thing in American universities’ class is that their students are good at doubting, brave to search, and paying great attention to practice. America’s teaching mode is very agile, whose teaching style is large different from other countries. In the USA’s university, teachers pay much attention to cultivate the students’ capability of reasoning alone, and they encourage the students’ imagination and suggestion of their own. The teachers communicate with their students in flat-footed atmosphere. No matter in elementary school or high school, and in college, students can’t get mount of knowledge from their teachers, instead, teachers adopt kinds of vivid modes to improve the students’ enthusiasm, such as doing experiment, analyzing cases, debating, exchanging and etc. There is a good example about Kaifulee. The story happened in Columbia University where he studied in before. One time, Kaifulee put forward a technique project which was completely different from his instructor’s idea. After knowing Kaifulee’s thought, the instructor said to him: “I don’t agree with you, but I support you.” According to Kaifulee’s memory, the instructor’s encouragement urged him walking along his own successful way! This teaching concept embodies the America’s advanced character of their teaching idea commendably. In my opinion, our education system is so dull that we should change it, and American teaching concept is a good model for us. Really hope these officers will consider it cautiously! If we do like this, I think it’s not far for our country to catch up with these developed countries, because we’ll get more outstanding students in this way.

 

Topic: Out of class, the students try their best to relax themselves，and they pursue self improvement.

Extra-curricular life is an integral part of school life, and it’s as important as their study for the American students. Out of class, the students try their best to relax themselves，and self improvement is what they pursue fervidly. Though their life in class isn’t dry, still they look forward to trying additional live. In addition, they can get much improvement from here, and this is profitable for their future. Their extra-curricular life primarily include four aspects as follows.

Subtopic1: The American college students participate in kinds of extra-activities holding on campus.

The students have great enthusiasm in extra-curricular activities hold on campus. They will be influenced heavily in the activities. For instance, a sophomore went to be a tourist guide for the freshmen last year, and he becomes the director of the guiding part. Through the activity, he has learned how to understand others, give a hand to people around him, meet others’ need, and communicate with other people. This is so called the basic of leadership in American culture. Interviewers will regard you with special respect when you are hunting a job.

Subtopic2: The American college students would like to be a member of fraternities and sororities.

Fraternities and sororities are very popular among American college students. These organizations exist on more than 500 campuses. The best known are national groups with many chapters at schools throughout the country. Their names are Greek letters such as Alpha Delta Phi. These groups have been much criticized for being cruel and prejudiced because membership is limited and selective. A student must be invited to join. Those who seek membership must go through rush. The whole experience can be very painful if a student goes through rush and then is not asked to pledge any of the houses he or she has visited. Sororities and fraternities also tend to limit membership to one particular racial and religious group, thereby depriving its members of the wonderful opportunity that college offers for broadening social contacts. However, these groups do help students find friends of similar backgrounds; thus, they help combat loneliness for those away from home.

Subtopic3: The American college students join in athletic sports to train their will and other capability.

Joining in athletic sports is necessary for them. To take part in kinds of sports, not only good for their health, but also can they be cultivated in competition faculty and leading talent. Investigation shows that people who take part in athletic sports in university will get more salary than others. Especially for the CEOs, they get much   benefit in sports. Many people in the USA usually say like this: the header of a sports team in university has great advantage in job hunting in Wall Street.

Subtopic4: The American college students try to find a part-time job, so they can get much precious experience.

The last aspect is that part-time job! Studying first is the base concept for us Chinese students. But American university is a real society, for that part-time job always impenetrate their college life. To some extent, part-time job is a sort of fashion. Everyone can broaden their outlook through this way. Some students finish studies by part-time job, and the students are more and more. There are some students who are very adventurous even starting business in their dormitories! Otherwise, working on a part-time basis can prepare them for a future career, for that working experience has great importance when we find a job after our graduation.

 

Conclusion: In conclusion, the college life in America is very desirable. The students in America have predominant condition in class, and they are good at studying. Out of class there are various activities, which are like the bridge through which they access to society. The time they spend in extra-curricular life is no less than that they spend in the classroom, because they know that they are equal important for themselves. And American students have wide vision, they concern more about their future long after their graduation. I think this is what we need now.

   Haven't written diary for some days, for I must finish the english teacher's assignment--an enlish paper! Now I have finished it. It took me two days to complete it. I feel grateful to my teacher, because I have distate for writting english article. But now the truth has changed! Thanks for my teacher in the bottom of my heart! I don't dislike it anymore, and I think I'll like it more and more.

   Though I usually refered to Kingsoft Powerword when I wrote the paper, I think I'll throw it away some days later! Frankly, Kingsoft Powerword is an useful learning tool, and it help me a lot in latest day. What I think  successful is that I don't copy other person's article! All the words is inputted by myself.  Maybe it has many mistakes,  and reads not fluently, I still like the paper very much!
