  • How to grow old

    Some old people are oppressed by the feeling of death. In the young there is a justification for the feeling. Young man who have reason to fear that they will be killed in th battle may justifiably feel bitter in thought that they have been cheated by the best thing that life has to offer. But in an old man who has known human joys and sorrows, and has achieved whatever work it was in him to do, the fear of death is somewhat abject and ignoble. The best way to overcome it—as at least it seems to me—is to make your interests gradually wider and more impersonal, until bit by bit the walls of ego recede, and your life gradually emerged in the universal life. An individual human existence should be like a river-small at first, narrowly contained within its banks, rushing passionately past boulders and over waterwalls. Gradually they become wider, the banks recede, the water flow more quietly , and in the end , without any visible break, they become emerged in the sea, and painlessly lose their individual being. The man who, in old age, can see his life in this way will not suffer from the fear of death, since the things he cares of will continue. And if, with the decay of vitality, weariness increase, the thought of rest will be not unwelcome. I should wish to die while still at work, knowing that others will carry on what I can no longer do, and content in the thought that what was possible has been done.

  • A beautiful girl's unlucky encounter

          When I went to company yesterday,I heared a work-accident occured in our factory on weekends.It's too bad news to us.Our factory has no accident for more than 600 days and is the pacemaker in the company.But now it only become the glorious history.It also declares our work about "6s" lose.Not only our factory director but all of workers are sorry to hear the sad news.

          But when I hear the unlucky thing happens to Jiangdan,everything stops moving in my heart.She is so nimbus and lovely.Last month the wedding of ten-year anniversary of our factory she precided is praised by company learders,his dancing charmed all the audiences' sights.But it may be her last time dancing in the stage because the accident rob her hand.She just leave school to work and is only  17 or 18 yeras old.She should have her happy life.The god is too unfair to her.

       Let's bless for the nimbus ,lovely girl!

  • Raining raining......

    2007-7-30

        Now it's raining heavily with lighting and thunder.Maybe it will persist one hour,two hour,one night and even long .I hope it keep long.Almost no raining for one month in Dongguan,the weather is so hot that you can't sleep well even if the fan run all the time at night.In middle,I have to wake up to cool myself with cold water.I have dreamed that I feel so cool standing outside in the raining day several times.Today it comes finally.I beg that it does not leave so quickly.

    OK,now i can't help to rush outside and touch the rain nearly.......

       Someone who can make you feel accompanied, who can make you happy, make you laugh, get you entertained, be romantic, and someone who can listen to you, understand you, and talk to you.     Someone who wouldn't hide things, and can trust you.  someone who can have fun hobbies, who can be optimistic about things that happen in life. Someone who is intelligent, and if he's not in college, at least be interested in studying and doing something with his life that would make him happy. Someone who can be sure of himself as well.

  • Hot.....hot....

       After raining almost a month,the weather of Dongguan become hotter and hotter.Today the temperature is about 40 degrees which is hard to suffer from.After work ,I come back my small house.There is no air-condition ,only a samll fan in the small house,so I can't stay there in a minute but nowhere to go.I wash six times with cold water in an houre to avoid calenture.Sometimes the small wind blows into my small house lightly and it can take small cold,which make me feel better.

     

        The hot weather take up amost 8 months in a year in Guangdong! Now noly three months past and there are 5 months left for me to suffere from!........

  • Today I am late!

    2007-6-21

      Today,exactly yesterday,I was late for work.Yesterday morning,I got up at 7:35 and then put on clothes,did washing,ate four zongzis(dumpling made of glutinous rice wrapped in bamboo or reed leeves)as breakfast.After that I saw the clock,it's already 7:56 and only four minutes left for me to go to company.I run down and ride as quickly as I can .But it was 8:00:10 when I arrived and I  was late.When I thought I would be blamed by the director ,I decided to change the day shift as middle.So I lied to my director ,saying that my one classmate would come to see me and I wanted to change the shift.He agreed and blame was avoided.

       Now I was just away from work and  am writting the uninteresting  thing.

While being questioned by a young reporter about an invention he had been working on for a long time, he revealed one of  the secrets of his greatness. The young reporter asked,"Mr. Edison, how does it feel to have failed 10,000 times in your present venture?" Edison replied,"Young man, since you are just getting started in life, I will give you a thought  that  should benefit you in the future. I have not failed anything 10,000 times. I have successfully found 10,000 ways that will not work."

      I want to know some foreign friends,so I sign up on http://friends.englishcn.com/ free.There I search some other memberes .I just want to send email or chat with them on line but then I find i can't because i am not a VIP member.If I want to become a  VIP member,i should pay for the net.I think it's foolish to spend money on friendship!Friendship is invaluable and can't be weighed by money.
