  I was once told by a Japanese student that this is an old story.

  One Saturday afternoon th grasshopper(蚱蜢）,the snail,and the centipede（蜈蚣） were sitting around the grasshopper's house drinking beer.

  They ran out of beer before they wew ready to quit drinking,so they decided one of them shuold go out for more beer.

  The snail said,"I'd go ,but I'm kind of slow.Besides,Grasshopper,this is your neighborhood so you know where to go."

  The grasshopper said,"I don't mind going ,but my hopping will shake up  the beer and we'll get sprayed every time we open one."

  So they decided to send the centipede; and the grasshopper explained how to get the nearest liquor store.

  An hour or so passed and still the centipede hadn't returned,so the snail and the grasshopper decided to go look for him.

  They got as far as the front door and found the centipede sitting there putting on his shoes.

　　After your gourmet dinner, take a walking tour of the floodlit monuments. Cross the Pont Neuf, the oldest bridge in the city, to the Ile de la Cite. The most famous landmark of Paris looms up in front of you the Notre Dame Cathedral (Cathedral of Our Lady). Stand in the square in front of the cathedral. Here, you are standing in the center of France. All distances are measured from the front of Notre Dame. Every road in France leads to her front door. All French kings and leaders have journeyed here to commemorate important occasions and give thanks. Notre Dame is the heart of Paris and the heart of France.

  Take a stroll along the Seine River. Browse through the art vendors, colorful paintings. Peek through delicate iron gates at the well-kept gardens. Watch closely for the French attention to detail that has made France synonymous with good taste. You will see it in the design of a doorway or arch and in the little fountains and quaint balconies. No matter where you look, you will find everyday objects transformed into works by art.  

 沿著塞纳河漫步。浏览艺术家们丰富色彩的绘画，透过那些精致的铁门，向內偷窺那些精心照看的花园。仔细留心法国人对于细节的留心。这使得法国成为“好品味”同义字。你可以在门廊或拱门以及小喷泉和古怪有趣的走廊的设计上看见。不管你往哪里看，你都可以发现日常物品已经变成了艺术品。  

  Spend some time in a quiet park relaxing on an old bench. Lie on your back on the green grass. When you need refreshment, try coffee and pastries at a sidewalk cafe. Strike up a conversation with a Parisian. This isn't always easy, though. With such a large international population living in Paris, true natives are hard to find these days.   　

花些时间，在一个安静的公园里面的旧板凳上轻松地休息。躺在青草地上。想吃点心的时候，尝尝路边咖啡店的咖啡及点心。找一个巴黎人展开一段会话，但这也不太容易。有这么大的国际人口居住在此地。在这个年头要找到一个真正当地的巴黎人是很难的。  

  As evening comes to Paris, enchantment rises with the mist over the riverfront. You may hear music from an outdoor concert nearby: classical, jazz, opera or chansons, those French folk songs. Parisians love their music. The starry sky is their auditorium. You can also hear concerts in the chateaux and cathedrals. In Paris the Music never ends.

It doesn't take much to bring on a blue day.

find some new wrinkles, put on a little weight, or get a huge pimple on your nose.

You could forget your date's name or have an embarrassing photograph published.
你可能忘记了约会对象的名字，或是有张可笑的照片被登出来。

You might get dumped, divorced, or fired, make a fool of yourself in public, be afflicted with a demeaning nickname,
你或许被人抛弃、离了婚，或是被开除，当众出丑，被刻薄的绰号弄得心乱如麻， 

or just have a plain old bad-hair day.
或许只因为你得整天顶着一个其丑无比的发型。

Maybe work is a pain in the butt.
也许工作让你痛苦得如坐针毡。

You're under major pressure to fill someone else's shoes,
你在强大的压力下顶替他人的位置，

your boss is picking on you,
你的老板对你百般挑剔，

and everyone in the office is driving you crazy.

You might have a splitting headache,

These days I get a chance to learn crazy English ,and find it usefull and fun.At the same time I set  my mind to  improve  oral English.Maybe I may meet some difficulty but I do believe where there is a will ,there is a way!!as we all know in unity there is a power.so any advice is welcome!!!!!!

what a boring day !Once I got up in the morning ,it was 9 o'clock .Then I did

some sports.But soon I felt a little tied,for I haven't did exercise for a long time .

what a terrible fact! I  guess I will gain weight if this contiues.I just can not

If something is brothering you ,it is a good idea to talk about it .Call a friend or a relative.A good chat is a great way to feel better fast .

Westlife,Backstreet Boys ,SHE~~who doesn't like alittle mindless pop?Listening to upbeat and happy music will make you smile .Singing alone won't hurt either.

5.Laughter is the best medicine

Laughing is the best way to improve your mood .Children laugh around 400  times a day.Adults only laugh about 20 times a day .What happened? Be a kid for a day:play games ,watch funny movies ,or read jokes online.

  God gives every bird its food ,but he doesn't throw it into its nest.Whatever you want to go ,whatever you want to do. it's truly up to you.

  Do you want to make everything complete? That's a common idea to each person .In fact, most of the time that we take for granted don't go as we wish.

    Our life can't be perfect.We hope to get excellent grades.We want to be top students.Every day,we try our best to listen to teachers carefully and follow their instructions.But we often don't feel satisfied.We face new problems every day.

   Then, can things around us be perfect?No .For example ,when you stare into the bright moon hanging in the deep sky,you may feel"how beautiful it is !"The truth is that ,the beauty of the moon is presented not only through its brightness.More importantly,it is incompleteness that inspires our imagination and deep thoughts .Assuming that our unlimited imagination and deep thoughts are seeds ,we can say the moon's incompleteness is the fertile soil that makes the seeds sprout and grow.

   It is just the fragmentary part that makes things perfect.A man without any failures,in some sense ,is a poor man.He wouldn't know the joys of hopefulness and the pains of struggle.

  A wise man knows he ought to give up something at the right time. The person who gives up the dream he can't realize is perfect;the person who values his experience of failure is perfect .Say no to perfection .The world doesn't have to be perfect.
