About Online Relationship

(I saw this article from a book,it made me think a lot,maybe something in it is common in our life,what do you think of it?)

  I started an online relstionship a little less than a year ago.This guy sounde really great,with everything that he told me over the net.One night I was talking to him over the net,he told me to call him,and of course I did,and that opened up a whole new world for me.This guy shared with me the things he has never told anyone about before and the tha same with me.I told him my fears,and a fleeling that I never have before.We stayed uo until three or four in the morning talking to each other.About eightmonths ago,he stopped calling me,and stopped answering my message,and the called me about four moths later,and said he had been in the hospital all that time,and I was horrified,even when he told me he wasn't that badly injured .But then,I had to thell tim something, something I had lied to him about from the beginning,something I had to tell him if I still wanted to be his friend.Our age difference is six years.The thing I lied to him about was my age.I had told him I was two years older than I really was.He didn't seem that mad when I told him,but I couldn't be sure.I haven't called him,or written to him in about three months.The last time I talked to him he hung up on me about an hour into our talk.I tried calling back,but he didn't answer.

 He's like a best friend I never had,and I still want to be friends,or even more,with him.But I am so confused as to what I should do.Should I write him a letter?Should I call him?I need some advice,so I really hope you guys can help.
