Thoughts In The Middle Autumn-Day

Have you remembered how did you spend the last Mid-autumn Day? Maybe yes, maybe not. I am sure if you reunioned with your family the last Mid-autumn is definitely impressive coz we always cherish those precious memories.

        So how about tonight? Have you come up with any idea to spend this special time meaningful or special? Well, it might be a tough question for most of us living in the big city. 

        In this new era our life style has changed to such an extent that we find that it's hard to enjoy that kind of peaceful & harmonious reunion  which is a natural part of our life in the past. Now most of us have to leaf our hometown for the big city for those high salary position and the so-called comfortable mordern life. Yeah, apparently we have got what we have desired. The outside world we are living is always flourish with the buzz of millions of cars, the crowded flow of residents, the glint of those lights ect. But our inner world is as active as the outside world? Or just to the opposite! Well, after having conversation with many friends I wonder a wild guess that a great portion of us might have the strong feeling of solitude, especial for those leaving hometown. 

         Now let's return to the pic I put above? That is a very notable movie describing an eminent pianist who views that barge as his home. Coz of his eminent skill many powerful or wealthy guy offer him great deal to play at other places. But he is never moved by those great deal because he strongly holds his faith that he can't leave his home---the barge.  Whenever he leaves the barge he feels great solitude. I think this movie wholly reflects our condition. The barge is like our hometown, the big city is like the place we have dreamed of and we also possess excellent skills. But the moment we left the place we are born and brought up we feel strong solitude, especially in festival---like Mid-autumn Day.

         However, when we are young and energetic we always cherish the beautiful dreams and are eager to adventure the outside world. Then we make the sacrifice in return for our childhood dreams. So the traditional festivals not only witness our solitude but also witness the achievement we have made.  

         Apparently solitude and achievement go together in this new era. This is the feature of this era. So let's accept it as a part of life and enjoy the Mid-autumn Day.
