it has snowed for two days. it is still snowing in great flakes. since i was born in 1976,i have never seen such heavy snow. The weather forecast says that tonight it will snow heavier than daylight. oh, that's too bad. although the snow is beautiful, but it gives us the bad traffic. The Spring Festival is coming, a lot of people needs to go home, but they are all snowed in. The trains, the buses and the planes are all stopped. I hope it won't be so long to keep this situation.

Since I began surfing in the internet last year,i have met several net friends. Yesterday,the midwinter,I recieved a well-wishing from one of them. I felt very happy. Today I had picked up a telephone from the other one. I feel very happy.

The net brings me a lot of happyness and a lot of thoughts. Although there are some fabrications,and I still look it as a true world,a wide world. I can learn more information and technologies from it. Although not all of the net friends deal with the net so frankly,but I still face the netfriends as my real features. I think i will have more real friends through the internet.

today in the morning, when i got to the office, i recieved a short message. "there's something happened between your colleague and his wife who lives upstair. in the yesterday evening, just about eleven o'clock, they fighted each other. his wife handled a iron spanner to chase him. oh, he was very poor and it seemed that he had lower status in their family usually. " this message is from my friend who lives downstair.

although everybody in our company know that my colleague is very afraid of his wife, but yet i cann't believe that thing has been happened. After all they are couple and have lived with each other for just fifteen years. They have a smart daughter-fourteen years old. do they still love each other? i have any doubt with them.

i don't think that the wife must control the husband. the wife and the husband should help each other to built a very kindful,confortable atmosphere in the family. i'll try my best to do this.

today i had a bad day. In the morning, i planed to go to the foreign exchange maneging office to apply a sheet. by the way, i sent my daughter to the kindergardon. after i sent her to there and went to the office, i realized i was on the wrong way. oh, my god, i just forgot the way to the managing office. i called to david and asked the correct way to that office. this is the first reason that i had a bad day.

the second reason that cause i was unhappy was that i forgot leaving the key to my mother-in-law. when i was on the way to my company, she called to me, so i have to go back to give the key to her. oh, my bad memory.

the last reason , the worst reason was when i reached my company, a large quality matter had happened. my boss just wanted to call me. this group of products used a bad quality chip. oh, i have to solve this problem. that cause i will become very busy these days.

i must improve my situation! 

My mother is a nagger,especially about me.

when i get up late, she nags. she always says to me:"please develop good habit of getting up early, it's good for your health,your life and your carreer. if you get up early,you can breathe fresh air,you can improve your memorize,you won't be late for your work, and the boss will think better of you."

when i make a little mistake, she nags. she says to me:" if you don't avoid making little mistakes, you will make a large mistake in the future. you should correct your behavīor anytime. you must remember that the details decide the results."

when i face the difficulty and want to retreat, she nags. she says to me:" if you retreat when you face the difficulty, you will never grow up, you will never have the experience to solve the problem, you will never have the courage to deal with the difficulty. finally you won't be successful."

when i come aross something that somebody needs some help and i don't give him(her) any help, she nags. she says to me:" if you can give somebody some help but you didn't do this, you won't get any help from the others. helping each other is correct, the society needs helping each other. you must change your behavīor."

although i got married and have left my home for several years, my mother has not nagged about me any more, but i have still remembered what she said to me. it's very helpful for my life and my work. in the thanksgiving day, i want to thank her very much.

Yesterday, I and my husband played with my daughter. That time a very intesting thing had happened. Her dad asked me to help him washing his hair. I answered his question at a very loud voice. Suddenly, my daughter disturbed us.

She said: "you're a fool."

"Who?"I asked."Dad or Mum?"

Wait for a while, she answered: "It's me. Mum is smart,Dad is smart,i'm fool."

All of us laughed and laughed. She was so clever that she wasn't going to make all of us unpleasant and made fun of herself.

The day before yesterday, after i got back home, I found my daughter had a cough yet. Oh, I'm so sad about this. I hadn't have a good sleep the whole night because she coughed and coughed. About five o'clock, I found that she had a hyperpyrexia. So, we brought her to the hosipital, the doctor told us that she had something illness in her amygdalae. oh, that was terrible. This needed treating. Yesterday and today we brought her to the hosipital.

Today, when I come back home, I found that she felt better than yesterday, I was so happy. Then I played with her and teached her to search insects from the pictures. Now she has gone to sleep, but still has a little cough. I don't know if I bring her to hosipital tomorrow.

Today I recieved the books that I bought from the internet the day before yesterday. I bought four kinds of books to my daughter. It took me 122 yuan to obtain these books. I think it's valuable.

Although these books were sold at a half discount. But I find these books are very interesting and very helpful for my daughter. So I think I have done a correct thing. I'm very happy. I have no experience in buying books in the internet, this is my firt time.

I will continue to buy books in the internet, if only these books are helpful for me.

Today when I came back home, I heard my daughter crying after I pushed the door. I asked her Dad why she was unhappy, he told me that today when he picked her up to go home, he forgot bringing her the sunflower's seeds. In the morning, she put the sunflower's seeds in her Dad's pocket. So when she went out of the gardon, she remembered that.

Oh, that's the reason she crying. So I bring her the sunflower's seeds and help her eating it. Then she is becoming happy now.

Since she had gone to the nersury school, she has become more and more intelligent, more and more lovely. When she goes from the school back, she always tells me the story about the nursury school and her classmate, sings some songs learning from the school to me. She has maken great progress since she had gone to the nersury school. I'm very happy to see that.

I have graduated for about ten years. I worked for three companies. In every company, I made more progress. Now, I feel a little bit more disappointed with myself. I feel that I can't catch up the progress of technologies. I must learn much more knowledges to improve myself. The time flies. I feel that I haven't much more time to study after I got married. It seems that I spent much more time on my family,especially on my daughter. But as a technician, if I don't make progress, I will miss many chances to improve my situation. Today, the general manager called to me and asked:"could you design a new style of lamps? This lamp can be controlled by remote device." At that moment, I remembered all the knowledges learned in school had been throwed away. I must pick it up and apply them to the practice. I must use the internet to search useful information and technologies. I think it will be helpful for me.

I decide that I must spend one hour to learn my technologies every day and I must spend one hour to learn english every day. The chance is alway given to a person who is ready.

I have an opportunity to change my job. A client of my husband want to set up factory producing energy saving lamps and has offered me to be his engineer. But the place I don't want to go to. It's very far from my hometown. How can I decide?

Advantages:

If I change my job, I will improve my situation, improve my family's situation. I can earn more salary and more development. fortunately,my husband and my daughter will follow me and live in a strange city.

Disadvantages:

It's very far from my home town. If I go there, I will leave my mother,my brother,my sister,my friends and the other relationship. If I go there, I must build new ralationship.

What should I do?It's a big decision.

One company will invite an assistant for their general maneger. They prepare several exams. And there are six examinees passed the exam and come to the last exam(interview). But in this interview the examiner find that there are seven examinees at that time.

So he say:"who isn't the examinee?"

"i didn't pass the exam,at first exam,i failed. But I want to join the last exam."answered one man.

"Why do you want to join the last exam?You didn't pass the first exam. Do you think that you will pass the last exam?It's so funny."asked the examiner.

"Because I have the fortune that anybody else haven't. I have many experiences for ten years and I worked for twelve companies."said the man.

"It's good that you have so many experiences, but it's not good to change your job so frequently. It's not appriciated."interrupted the examiner.

"That's not my fault. Those twelve companies went to burst-up. I didn't want to change my job, but........I and my colleagues try our best to solve the problems,but we failed. Although we failed, but i learned so much from those problems. And I have more experiences to avoiding the failing than the others. and i will be more careful with details than the others."replied the man.

All of them couldn't keep laughing.  At that time, an old man servicing for them gave a cup of tea to the examiner and laughed. "If you won't agree with me and don't let me passed, I think this will become your fault."said the man and wanted to go out the door. Suddenly, he turned back and said:" Through my looking, the old waiter is the general manager."

All of them surprised and the old man smiled:"yes,I am the general manager. You passed the last exam and you are employed. I want to know how you can find i'm the general maneger."

"Details help me finding you are general manager."answered the man.

The jazz musicians earned money by performing in many cities and towns across the United States. The performers would like to play in New York City best of all. The early jazz musicians and the entertainers described each city and town in U.S.A as an apple on a tree. So they called the New York city the Big Apple. Expressing opinions is one example of culture difference between east and west. Westerners express their opinions freely. They feel that it is natural to have different ideas. They don't mind hearing views that it is differ from their own. You may express frankly what you think or feel. Of course, you shouldn't be rude for the manners and speach.Statements such as:"You are wrong.""You are mistaken.""You don't know."etc.aren't exactly bad,but it is preferable to soften the tone.
