    There are 4 seasons in a year. Each season has different characteristic,see the blow:

    Winter is usually a cold season. People can snow ski and ice skate during the winter months, and everyone wears warm coats.

    Spring is usually a warm season. It's sunny and the flowers begin to grow. Spring is sometimes rainy and windy in many countries.

    Summer is usually a hot season. It is a really fun season if you like swimming and playing tennis. The sun shines a lot in most countries in the summer months.

    Fall/Autumn is usually a cool season. It is cool during the day and cold at night. In many parts of the world, trees change color and students go back to school.

  • the rose legend

    People have been passionate about roses since the beginning of time. In fact， it is said that the floors of Cleopatra's palace were carpeted with delicate rose petals， and that the wise and knowing Confucius had a 600-book library specifically on how to care for roses.

    　　人类有史以来就钟情于玫瑰。据说，克娄巴特拉的宫殿的地面就铺满了娇嫩的玫瑰花瓣，博学的孔子有600册藏书专门讲述如何培育玫瑰。

    　　The rose is a legend on its own. The story goes that during the Roman Empire， there was an incredibly beautiful maiden named Rhodanthe. Her beauty drew many zealous suitors who pursued her relentlessly. Exhausted by their pursuit， Rhodanthe was forced to take refuge from her suitors in the temple of her friend Diana. Unfortunately， Diana became jealous. And when the suitors broke down her temple gates to get near their beloved Rhodanthe， she became angry turning Rhodanthe into a rose and her suitors into thorns.

She asked the help of Aphrodite， the goddess of love， who gave her beauty Dionysus， the god of wine， added nectar to give her a sweet scent， and the three Graces gave her charm， brightness and joy. Then Zephyr， the West Wind， blew away the clouds so that Apollo， the sun god， could shine and made this flower bloom. And so the Rose was born and was immediately crowned the Queen of Flowers.

  • The Truth about Marriage

    　I think that we should all have two lives. One to live to make mistakes and then one to come back and do it again. You know so you don‘t make mistakes. I mean because parents will not tell you things － nobody ever tells you. Parents don’t want to sit down and really 1）garb and say： well now this is what this is about and this is why we are doing this and this － No it‘s a big secret！

    　　When I got married I said to my father， “I‘m going to get married， can you help me？” He said no. I went to my mother， I said “I’m going to get married， Ma， tell me something about it.” She said， “Oh， that‘s wonderful. Your father and I have never argued， and he’s just been wonderful all through life. ”Which is a lie！ Lie！ I heard him in there， and， “I‘ll now tell you another thing I’ll take your arm and 2）rip it off and rararara……”

    　　And now in my marriage， my wife and I love each other but I will tell you 3）in a minute we‘ve had some arguments！ I mean I’ve never 4）punched her and she‘s never punched me but we’ve had some arguments， I‘ve called her some names that I was proud I even thought of. And my wife has 5）run some of on me that I’ve written down， yeah， but nobody will tell you that. The only person who ever made an attempt was a priest. Think about that. A priest！ Said， “I‘ll tell you about it，” I beg your pardon.

    　　Marriage， you can‘t beat it. The first day we got married， both of us scared and everything， there we got married and we went to our hotel room for our honeymoon and just stared at each other － just sat there on the edge of the bed with our clothes on looking at each other. Then finally we got in the car and went to the 6）drive-in and then we knew what to do.

  • sailing in the English "sea"

    As English is more and more important recently, we all have to study English carefully. In another word, we have to sailing in the English ”sea”.

    When we were children, we left for the “island” called perfect English. It means we wanted to have a good knowledge of English. At first, we often had a great interest in learning English because English brought us a new world that we had never known. We learned it very carefully, remembered it very hard and spoke it very frequently. We are just like a new ship, whose material is up to date and energy is abundant.

    But after a period of time, we became tired and might think the new world is just so so or even a little boring, so the learning “ wave” fell down quickly. When we lost our interests, it was easy for the waves to swallow us. What interest to our English study is what energy to ship. Interest often turned very fast. Even through we might start learning English with interest, we can’t only rely on the interest.

    If we could come over this difficulty , we would reach a high wave again. We could have a wider view of our English study. We could notice many more sceneries of English.

    But sometimes the wider we see in English, the deeper we learn in English, we would be more unsatisfied. At that time, we might have a insight of English, but we felt not only excited but also hopeless. Because it seems the knowledge of English is endless. And it’s likely that the perfect English “island” is too far to reach. The difficulties may be vocabulary, grammar, writing or spoken English which most of our Chinese students afraid of. We would fell down from a high wave immediately.

    Through it is not easy to learn a language, of course including English, it doesn’t means we can’t success in learning English. If we only have interest, it’s impossible to sail in the English sea. But if we only have willpower, it’s impossible either. For example, we learn English is like sailing in the sea, so the interest is like energy and willpower is like anchor. Energy can make our “ship” sail fast and powerful and anchor can help us steady direction in violent storm. When we have interest and willpower, the “island” called perfect English is not an easy thing, but we cab accept many benefits and be the captain of our learning!

  • SMALL TASK

    Recently, there are some troules in using English for me, I realy don't know how to express in English? eg. What is the formal expression? or informal,maybe that I know about it is poor,so I must try to look for more informations on it.At present ,it doesn't well, it's a big problem to me , solving it is my task in next!
