Who are you when you are surfing the internet. Your ID says you are a pig though your true name is jack, maybe you are no longer who you really are in the real world. You may say, come on, that’s no big deal, we are just in different names. Is it really that simple? I have been wondering for days.

Actually, what you are called on the net is not the point, the point is how you act on it. You act more like a jack or unlike a jack. The true jack may be an introverted boy, who seldom speak to the classmates around him, but he surprisingly talks on net freely, acts so friendly and passionate. So that a question comes to us, who is jack, who is the real jack?

On the net, we would like to communicate with a stranger, despite he or she is good looking or ugly, rich or poor, so that we make friends with one another easily. We share our stories on our blogs, we talk about life, work, love, music on QQ, MSN, skype things like that, whenever, wherever, as long as you have a computer that is connected to the internet. Our world has greatly enlarged, our life has been more or less changed, our definition of friend has been given a new sense. Before you, your world has been separated into two parts, the real part and the virtual part. So that you may have two choice, to live in the real world as what you used to be, or to live in the virtual world to grant you a new life, to be who you want to.

He was a kind person who was always be there when someone needed his help, but there was a time, when something unexpected came up, he was misunderstood by others and got hurt, so that he would fear to be misunderstood again, and hesitated to give a hand when he is needed.

Amazingly, on the net he is so passionate to help others, give some guidance to the young people when they are in troubles, or help them solve the problems in study. So people would feel who is the real himself, the one on the net? In my opinion, the one on the net is more himself, because he is a good guy, innately always preparing to help others, but only on the net he shows who he really is. We can’t judge a person just from how he acts in the real world.

So, answer my question, jack, are you jack when I see you on the net?
