Life is short,
Break the rules,
Forgive quickly,
Kiss slowly,
Love truly,
Laugh uncontrollably,
And never regret anything that made you smile.

Here is a short report (120-140 characters) I did weeks ago to share with those interested in Business english.
New Roman">
This report aims to assess the performance of new products A, B and C, in terms of turnover in department stores, supermarkets and small shops between 2000 and 2002.
Turnover of department stores made £50m in 2000, and stayed unchanged at £35m over the following two years.
On the other hand, supermarkets showed a general upward trend, with turnover kept rising from £65m in 2000,to £70m in 2001, reaching £80m in 2002.
However, small shops experienced a lower performance. Turnover of £30m was made in 2000, then fell to £20m in 2001 before a slight recovery of £5m in 2002.
Generally speaking, supermarkets rank first in sales over the 3-year-period, following were department stores and then small shops.
Following is a longer one (200-250 characters)...
This report sets out to analyse the possibility of breaking into the Europe market with our new range of sports goods, and suggest some ways to promote our products.
Findings
We carried out a market research into the major cities of Britain, from which we got lots of figures and statistics very useful to us. Basically there are two major competitors dealing in high-class sports goods with market shares respectively 42 per cent and 53 percent, while the rest are occupied by some other small companies.
With questionnaire and face to face talks, we got to know the local people’s consumer behavīors and purchasing powers. Statistics show, the major buyers of sports products age 15-24, most of whom students, individually with an average of 200 pounds per year spent on sneakers, sports wears, and the like. And 60 percent of the respondents say they can't afford brand names, and tend to go shopping for clearance sales at shopping malls.
Conclusions
With an increasingly cut-throat competition in high-class sports products in Europe nowadays, we have a hugh gap to fill in lower-class areas. Meanwhile, we need to target at the young group of people with our new series of products tailor-made for their preferences. It's advisable to launch an advertising campaign, having a superstar to endorse our products, and to sponsor some campus activities to catch more students' eye.
