why are Bike so much used in China

With development of society,but why are bike so much used in China.the bike is very population in China,Bcause to the mainly of people usual ride bike that feel convenience to work or school,it's very funny that have a short trip by bike wherever you can be it,the one think it which is a best transports,and don't care it about price of it,it is a cheaper and reduce energy,all of us know that made up of 13 millions of a larger person of China,if belong to a car of per family while will used mass of resource and don't clear of air.So the bike is very important for China.What a pity!I can't take out bike of ticket in from commemorative party.
