    2009-07-01 08:07:45

Very quietly I take my leave
    As quietly as I came here;
    Quietly I wave good-bye
To the rosy clouds in the western sky.

The golden willows by the riverside
    Are young brides in the setting sun;
Their reflections on the shimmering waves
Always linger in the depth of my heart.

The floatingheart growing in the sludge
    Sways leisurely under the water;
In the gentle waves of Cambridge
I would be a water plant!

That pool under the shade of elm trees
    Holds not water but the rainbow from the sky;
Shattered to pieces among the duckweeds
Is the sediment of a rainbow-like dream?

    To seek a dream?
Just to pole a boat upstream
    To where the green grass is more verdant;
Or to have the boat fully loaded with starlight
And sing aloud in the splendour of starlight.

    But I cannot sing aloud
    Quietness is my farewell music;
Even summer insects heep silence for me
    Silent is Cambridge tonight!

Very quietly I take my leave
    As quietly as I came here;
    Gently I flick my sleeves
Not even a wisp of cloud will I bring away

    轻轻的我走了,
     正如我轻轻的来;
    我轻轻的招手,
     作别西天的云彩。

    那河畔的金柳
     是夕阳中的新娘
    波光里的艳影,
     在我的心头荡漾。

    软泥上的青荇,
     油油的在水底招摇;
    在康河的柔波里,
     我甘心做一条水草

    那榆荫下的一潭,
     不是清泉,是天上虹
    揉碎在浮藻间,
     沉淀着彩虹似的梦。

    寻梦?
    撑一支长篙,
     向青草更青处漫溯,
    满载一船星辉,
     在星辉斑斓里放歌

    但我不能放歌,
     悄悄是别离的笙箫;
    夏虫也为我沉默,
     沉默是今晚的康桥!

    悄悄的我走了,
     正如我悄悄的来;
    我挥一挥衣袖,
     不带走一片云彩。

    2009-06-24 20:19:36

In the quest of keeping all of your gadgets charged up, nothing would be quite like using a bonsai tree that uses the sun to juice them up. Vivien Muller came out with this great concept from nature to charge your gadgets. PhotonSynthesis is a device which looks like a solar-cell bonsai. It can charge your cell phone, your MP3 player and a number of other electronic gizmos simply by plugging them into the tree. The tree possesses 54 photovoltaic panels which are powered by the sun during the day to charge up your gadgets. The solar energy is stored in a battery, allowing it to be used anytime. The adapters and cables fit neatly in a tray hidden beneath the tree.

Pretty different, hey? Each piece is also movable so you can make it even more original by creating your own shapes. Leave it by your window and you can rotate them to try and get more output if you find something charging slow.

This is a fun and great looking product that will save you money and give you that nice warm feeling to know that you're helping to save the planet too. The Solar Cell Tree Charger takes a lot less upkeep than your average household shrub, too. Just, ah, don't water it.

    2009-06-24 19:57:37

There are several variations on the basic auction form, including time limits, minimum or maximum limits on bid prices, and special rules for determining the winning bidder(s) and sale price(s). Participants in an auction may or may not know the identities or actions of other participants. Depending on the auction, bidders may participate in person or remotely through a variety of means, including telephone and the internet. The seller usually pays a commission to the auctioneer or auction company based on a percentage of the final sale price.

    Primary types of auction

    English auction
English auction, also known as an open ascending price auction. This type of auction is arguably the most common form of auction in use today. Participants bid openly against one another, with each subsequent bid higher than the previous bid. An auctioneer may announce prices, bidders may call out their bids themselves (or have a proxy call out a bid on their behalf), or bids may be submitted electronically with the highest current bid publicly displayed. In some cases a maximum bid might be left with the auctioneer, who may bid on behalf of the bidder according to the bidder's instructions. The auction ends when no participant is willing to bid further, at which point the highest bidder pays their bid.  Alternatively, if the seller has set a minimum sale price in advance (the 'reserve' price) and the final bid does not reach that price the item remains unsold. Sometimes the auctioneer sets a minimum amount by which the next bid must exceed the current highest bid.

The most significant distinguishing factor of this auction type is that the current highest bid is always available to potential bidders. The English auction is commonly used for selling goods, most prominently antiques and artwork, but also secondhand goods and real estate. At least two bidders are required.

    Dutch auction
Dutch auction also known as an open descending price auction. In the traditional Dutch auction the auctioneer begins with a high asking price which is lowered until some participant is willing to accept the auctioneer's price. The winning participant pays the last announced price.

The Dutch auction is named for its best known example, the Dutch tulip auctions. ("Dutch auction" is also sometimes used to describe online auctions where several identical goods are sold simultaneously to an equal number of high bidders.) In addition to cut flower sales in the Netherlands, Dutch auctions have also been used for perishable commodities such as fish and tobacco. In practice, however, the Dutch auction is not widely used.

    Sealed first-price auction
Sealed first-price auction, also known as a first-price sealed-bid auction (FPSB). In this type of auction all bidders simultaneously submit sealed bids so that no bidder knows the bid of any other participant. The highest bidder pays the price they submitted.

This type of auction is distinct from the English auction, in that bidders can only submit one bid each. Furthermore, as bidders cannot see the bids of other participants they cannot adjust their own bids accordingly. Sealed first-price auctions are commonly used in tendering, particularly for government contracts and auctions for mining leases.

    Vickrey auction
Vickrey auction, also known as a sealed-bid second-price auction. This is identical to the sealed first-price auction except that the winning bidder pays the second highest bid rather than their own. This is very similar to the proxy bidding system used by eBay, where the winner pays the second highest bid plus a bidding increment (e.g., 10%).

Although extremely important in auction theory, in practice Vickrey auctions are rarely used.

    2009-06-24 19:55:42

If you've been through it, this will probably come as no surprise. Divorce can add years to a person's face, it is claimed.

Researchers found that marriage breakdown can take a significant toll on appearance.

They looked at identical twins, who would be genetically predisposed to age at a similar pace, to determine whether certain experiences affected ageing.

"A person's heritage may initially dictate how they age but if you introduce certain factors into your life, you will certainly age faster, and likewise, if you avoid those factors you can slow down the hands of time," said Professor Bahaman Guyuron, who led the study.

Professor Guyuron and his colleagues gathered information from questionnaires and digital images taken from 186 pairs of twins.

An independent panel of judges then viewed the images for perceived age differences between the siblings.

The results showed that the twin who had gone through a divorce appeared two years older than the one who was married, single or had been widowed.

Those who took antidepressants or were overweight also aged quicker.

It is thought antidepressants can calm the facial muscles, causing them to sag in longterm users.

The research was conducted by the Case Western Reserve University in the U.S., and published in the Journal Of The American Society Of Plastic Surgeons.

Sun exposure, smoking and alcohol use were all found to have a negative effect on appearance.

    2009-06-09 20:05:59

Boys' English grades are up to a tenth worse when high numbers of girls are in the class with them, though girls' grades are unaffected.

Boys do worse in English when there are girls in their class, researchers will say today, contradicting the widely held belief that girls are always a good influence on boys in school.

Boys do best with "as few girls as possible" in English lessons at primary and secondary school, Steven Proud, a research student at Bristol University, will tell the Royal Economic Society's conference.

But when it comes to maths and science, both boys and girls at primary school achieve up to a tenth of a grade more when there is a high proportion of girls in the class, Proud found.

Proud tracked boys' and girls' test results at the ages of seven, 11, 14 and 16 in 16,000 schools in England between 2002 and 2004 for his PhD.

He analysed the test scores to see whether the proportion of girls in a year group made a difference to the results of both genders in maths, science and English.

There are marginally more boys than girls in schools, but most classes in mixed schools are almost equally split between the genders. Proud looked at these and schools that were exceptional in their high or low proportion of girls.

Boys consistently perform up to a tenth of a grade worse when they study English with high numbers of girls as opposed to few or no girls, Proud found.

The more girls there are in an English class, the worse boys perform. This is particularly the case in primary schools, he discovered.

Proud will argue that his results show boys should be taught English in single-sex classes.

Girls, who outperform boys in English at every stage at school, are unaffected by the number of boys in their English classes.

Girls also do better when there are some boys who receive free school meals in their class, Proud found.

He said: "The results imply that boys would benefit at all ages from being taught English with as small a proportion of girls as possible. In maths and science, the results tend to imply that both boys and girls benefit from having more girls in the classroom. A mix of the genders in both science and maths is optimal."

Proud said boys may do worse in English when there is a high proportion of girls in their class because they realise that the girls are better than them. It could also be that teachers use teaching styles more appropriate to girls when there are more girls than boys in the class. Both genders perform better in maths and science at primary school when there are more girls in the class because boys tend to disrupt the class more, he said.

Professor Alan Smithers, director of the Centre for Education and Employment Research at the University of Buckingham, said girls started school with slightly better verbal skills, while boys started with a slightly greater aptitude for maths.

"Boys might be discouraged by how well girls are doing in English," he said, "but that still does not explain why they would do better in maths and science with a higher proportion of girls in their class.

    2009-06-09 19:43:56

2008 has been a big year: We experienced one of the most debated presidential elections in history; the Phillies won the World Series; Madonna and Guy Ritchie separated; our economy is in a recession; and a man got stabbed for giving an inexcusable haircut。

Wait a second -- you didn't hear about that last one? Let me fill you in: A San Diego man allegedly stabbed a barber who gave him an unacceptable haircut. The man attacked the shop owner as he was closing down and slashed him twice in the face. The motive was that the man was unhappy with a previous haircut, according to authorities。

In midst of all the daily chaos that goes on in the world, a different type of pandemonium takes place every day in the workplace. Sometimes you hear about it and sometimes you don't -- on the off chance that you haven't, we've done that part for you。

Here are some of the stranger things that happened in the workplace (and out) during 2008:

      1. Central Florida firefighters save dogs with mouth-to-mouth resucitation

Firefighters in Florida revived several dogs by performing mouth-to-mouth resuscitation after they were rescued from a house fire. The dogs were taken to area hospitals. (Source: Local6.com)

      2. Man shot by friend so he could skip work

One man took calling in sick to new extremes after he had his friend shoot him the shoulder so he could miss work. The man told deputies in Pasco, Wash., he was shot in a drive-by while jogging before work. He later revealed that he'd asked a friend to shoot him so he wouldn't have to take a drug test at the office. (Source: MSNBC.com)

      3. Police chief fired after stealing beer from firefighters' fridge

The police chief of a small Kansas town was convicted of stealing beer after a surveillance tape showed him taking it from the fire department's refrigerator. It wasn't disclosed how much beer he pilfered or why it was in the fire department. He was suspended without pay pending an appeal of the conviction. (Source: Fox News)

      4. Man shoots co-worker while rescuing him from crocodile

Two crocodile farm workers in northern Australia were collecting crocodile eggs by a river bank when a crocodile grabbed one of them by the arm. The second man shot the crocodile, which caused him to release the victim. A second shot fired, however, hit the man in the same arm in which the crocodile grabbed him. The man survived. (Source: CNN.com)

      5. DVD in firefighter's coat blocks bullet

Barry McRoy, a South Carolina fire and rescue director, was leaving a Waffle House restaurant when two men came in fighting over a gun. The gun fired, hit one of the struggling men, shattered a window and hit McRoy, who didn't realize he'd been shot. The bullet hit a DVD McRoy had in his pocket; he suffered only a bruise. (Source: MSNBC.com)

      6. Man tries to pay for meal with pot

A Vero Beach, Fla., McDonald's restaurant worker received a shock when a drive-thru customer offered to pay for his meal with marijuana. The cashier called police, who found drugs in the customer's car and arrested him. (Source: MSNBC.com)

      7. Store changing 'open door' policy

After being robbed three times in one year, a New Hampshire convenience store is now requiring customers to be "approved" by the store owner before coming in. The store will keep its doors locked and customers are refused if the owner can't recognize them through the glass doors. (Source: WISHTV8.com)

      8. Snake bites mailman -- who finishes rounds

A 66-year-old Florida mailman doing his rounds was bitten by a poisonous snake when he put mail inside a mailbox. He told authorities he shook his arm and beat the snake against his car door to loosen its grip. He continued his rounds for the next 30 minutes before seeking help. The snake was thought to be an Eastern diamondback rattlesnake. (Source: MSNBC.com)

    2009-06-09 19:41:48

Women's brains are different from men's

[1]Men and women show differences in behaviour because their brains are

physically distinct organs, new research suggests. Male and female brains

appear to be constructed from markedly different genetic blueprints。

[2]The differences in the circuitry1 that wires them up and the chemicals

that transmit messages inside them are so great as to point to the

conclusion that there is not just one kind of human brain, but two,

    according to recent neurological2 studies。

[3]Men may be from Mars and women may be from Venus, and since the

American psychotherapist3 John Gray wrote his famous book, in 1992, on

the idea, it has been a commonplace to think of men and women as being

from different planets in terms of their emotional responses。

[4] But until recently, these differences were often explained by the

action of adult sex hormones, or by social pressures that encouraged males

and females to behave in a certain way。

[5]Increasingly, however, these assumptions are being challenged,

according to a review of recent neurological research appearing in

recent New Scientist magazine, and it is becoming clear that the brains

of men and women show numerous anatomical4 differences。

[6]Some of these divergences, the review by Hannah Hoag suggests, could

explain a number of mysteries, such as why men and women are prone to

different mental health problems, why some drugs work well for one sex

but have little effect on the other, and why chronic pain tends to

    affect women more than men。

[7]Although it has long been known that there were some male-female differences, it was thought they were confined to the hypothalamus5,

the brain region involved in regulating food intake, fighting and the sex

drive, among other things. But it is becoming clear that the relative

sizes of many of the structures inside female brains are different from

    those of males。

[8]One study, by scientists at Harvard Medical School, found that parts

of the  frontal lobe6, which houses decisionmaking and problemsolving

functions, were proportionally larger in women, as was the limbic cortex,  which regulates emotions. Other studies have found that the hippocampus7,

involved in shortterm memory and spatial navigation, is also proportionally

larger in women than in men "perhaps surprisingly, given women's reputation

as bad map readers" says the New Scientist review。

[9]Proportionally larger brain areas in men include the parietal cortex,

which processes signals from the sensory organs and is involved in space

perception, and the amygdala8, which controls emotions and social and

sexual behaviour. "The mere fact that a structure is different in size

suggests a difference in functional organisation," says Dr Larry Cahill

of the Centre for the Neurobiology of Learning and Memory, at the

    University of California, Irvine。

[10]One area of research concerns the brain's

painsuppressing mechanisms, and points to the fact that they may be

organised differently in men and women. This would explain why women

can suffer longterm pain more, and why there can be sex differences in

    response to opiumderived

painkilling drugs. The study notes: "Women get more relief from the

opioid painkiller nalbuphine9 compared to men, whereas in men morphine

is more effective and nalbuphine actually increases the pain intensity."

It is possible these findings could lead to new painkillers being

developed that are tailored to be more effective in women  but that

    is some  way off10。

[11]Mental health is another area where real brain differences may

offer explanations.  Women are diagnosed with depression twice as often as men, and

this may be linked to relative levels of the neurotransmitter serotonin.

Boys, on the other hand, are more likely than girls to be diagnosed with

autism,  Tourette's syndrome11, dyslexia, attentiondeficit disorder and

earlyonset schizophrenia. The review reports that Margaret McCarthy of

the University of Maryland in Baltimore believes that hormonelike substances

called prostaglandins, which help masculinise the male brain around

the time of birth, may be partly to blame。

[12]One of the reasons why physiological differences between male

and female brains have not been widely noted before may be that most of

what we know about the brain comes from studies of males, animals and

    human volunteers。

[13]Professor Jeff Mogil from McGill University, in Montreal, Canada,

who has demonstrated major differences in pain processing in males and

females, puts it even more forcefully. He is astonished that so many

researchers have failed to include female animals in their studies.

"It's scandalous," he said. "Women are the most common pain sufferers,

and yet our model for basic pain research is the male rat."

    2009-06-09 19:38:57

    2009-06-09 19:37:59

Middle-class teenagers are less intelligent than a generation ago due to the dumbing down of youth culture and school tests, a new study suggests.

IQ tests show that scores for the average 14-year-old have dropped by more than two points between 1980 and 2008.

For those in the upper half of the intelligence scale--a group typically dominated by the children of middle-class families--average IQ scores were six points down on 28 years ago.

Leisure time is increasingly taken up with playing computer games and watching TV instead of reading and holding conversations.

Education experts said a growing tendency in schools to "teach to the test" was affecting youngsters' ability to think laterally.

For the study, Professor James Flynn, of the University of Otago in New Zealand, analysed UK children's scores in IQ tests over time.

He found that IQs increased among children aged between five and 10 over the 28-year-period, at the rate of up to half a point a year.

He believes these gains are linked to changes to the home environment children experience when they are young, with parents increasingly providing stimulating activities.

But Professor Flynn also found that teenagers' scores had dipped slightly over the past generation.

It is the first time IQ scores have fallen for any age group during the past century, his research suggests.

"While we have enriched the cognitive environment of children before their teenage years, the cognitive environment of the teenagers has not been enriched."

"Other studies have shown how pervasive teenage youth culture is, and what we see is parents' influence on IQ slowly diminishing with age."

"What we know is that youth culture is more visually orientated around computer games than they are in terms of reading and holding conversations."

He said previous studies have tended to show IQ increasing as teenagers move into adulthood, entering university or starting work.

Previous studies have claimed that using text messages and email can temporarily reduce IQ by causing concentration to drop, while smoking marijuana has also been linked with a decline in IQ.

Memory FoodsWhile nothing beats a good sleep for enhancing your memory, the foods that you choose to include in your diet also play a role in how your memory functions. Many pay attention to their diets in terms of whether it’ll help them build muscle or lose fat, but they neglect to think of how food can improve memory.
In addition to eating memory foods, proper meal size plays a big role in how well your memory functions. Too little food will cause you to be distracted by hunger, while too much food will make you want to sleep. Incorporating the right memory foods and proper portion sizes will give you maximum results.
Here are some of the memory foods that you should incorporate into your diet to reap the benefits of memory enhancement.

    Salmon

On the protein front, one of the best sources is salmon, as it is a good source of omega-3 fatty acids, which are essential for brain function and development. Studies have suggested that supplementing with DHA, which is found in fish oil, is beneficial for the development and maintenance of memory performance.

Other memory foods that contain high amounts of omega-3 fatty acids include flaxseed, walnut, salmon, soybean, halibut, shrimp, snapper, tofu, scallop, and winter squash.

    Sunflower seeds

Nuts have been highly touted as a great way to get healthy fats into your diet, but many people forget that seeds fall into this category too. Sunflower seeds are a rich source of vitamin E, with one ounce providing 30% of your total daily intake. Vitamin E is one of the primary antioxidants that helps decrease the decline of memory as you age, making it one nutrient you’ll want to be sure to consume.
Other sources of vitamin E include wheat germ oil, dry almond, safflower oil, hazelnut, peanut butter, spinach, broccoli, kiwi, and mango.
    Blueberries

While all berries provide a number of
health-related benefits, blueberries in particular are a memory-boosting powerhouse. They are considered a memory food because they contain a phytochemical that is especially important in reversing the age-related decline of memory, while having a positive influence on spatial working memory.
In addition to this, blueberries rank low on the glycemic index scale, making them a good fruit choice if you are trying to control your blood sugar level.

    Lean beef

Including moderate portions of lean beef in your diet is beneficial in enhancing your memory because of its iron content. While most men get enough iron in their diet, those who are on a strict diet and are sticking mostly to chicken, egg whites and fish as sources of protein may be running a bit low.
Iron deficiency can have a big impact on brain function and impair learning abilities, eventually putting you at an increased risk for developing Alzheimer’s disease. So, be sure you aren’t cutting out good sources of iron from your diet -- even if you’re striving for maximum fat loss.

    2009-05-11 14:20:12

Want to lose weight? Eat more. As a general rule, you should never allow yourself to become hungry. Just like feeling thirsty means that you've waited too long and the earliest signs of dehydration are setting in, being hungry means that you've waited too long to eat since your last meal and your body is in need of nurishment. Allowing this to happen time and time again will slow your metabolism down, down, d-o-w-n ..。

Does this, then, mean that it's okay to eat Burger King or Taco Bell five or six times per day? Believe me, I'm right there with you -- I wish it did. But of course it doesn't。

What it means is that if you eat 5 to 6 small, healthy meals and snacks throughout the day, you will lose weight over time. a Framingham Nutrition Study has found that women who consume 400 more calories per day and eat healthier are two-and-a-half times less likely to have an excess of abdominal fat than women who take in fewer calories but consume more saturated fat and less fiber。

A political advisor proposed that, in the year of celebrating the 60th anniversary of the founding of People's Republic of China, one third or one sixth of country's 4 trillion yuan economic stimulus package should be used as red packets granted to the whole nation directly.

He Xingliang, a deputy from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, presented his suggestion on the 11th National People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) session in Beijing on March 10.

A red packet is a red envelope with money in it. It is a Chinese tradition to present red packets on social and family occasions such as a wedding reception or Chinese New Year.

The 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China is a joyous festival for the Chinese people, He said. "Giving red packets is the fairest and simplest way for the whole nation to share the achievements of reform and opening up. Especially to the 80 million rural residents, the money should be of great significance in improving and enhancing their life quality," He stated.

He has estimated that 1.3 billion yuan would be needed if each people obtain 1,000 yuan and picking the amount from 4,000 billion yuan could quickly stimulate the domestic demands.

"Red packets will be given as fixed coupons to mainly purchase industrial products like household appliances rather than daily necessities. Coupons can be used with cash," He added.

Some Chinese economists recommended following the US's tax refund strategy, but He reckoned it would not suit China's situation, given that farmers would benefit little from the strategy.

Liu Hanyuan, a CPPCC member, said the government should provide every citizen annual coupons worth up to 4,000 yuan ($584) to encourage domestic consumption.

Liao Xiaojun, deputy of Minister of Finance stated that no nationwide coupons would be given, on the sidelines of the annual session in Beijing March 8. Also, Chen Deming, Minister of Commerce said there was no plan on this issue at present.

You’re the girl in my dream.
I’m thinking of you every second.
It is universally acknowledged that you are indispensible to me.
Loving you is closely to my life.
I have searched a thousand years. And I have cried a thousand tears. I found everything I need. You are everything to me.
For years I had been searching for that perfect fantasy. But I find it in my arms right now. You are all to me.
When I met you I knew I would forever be by your side -- forever your partner and forever your love.
I asked God for a rose & he gave me a garden. I ask God for a drop of water & he gave me an ocean. I asked God for an angel & he gave me you! One day you ask me: what's more important to you, me or your life? I'll say my life and you'll go and leave without even knowing that you are my life. My eyes are hurting because I can't see you. My arms are empty because I can't hold you. My lips are cold because I can't kiss you. My heart is breaking because I'm not with you.

Honey, how do I live without you? I miss you every minute and every second.
Within you I lose myself, without you I find myself wanting to be lost again.
You are the one I have been looking for.
I can think of nothing else but your dazzling smile.
I will always keep a warm place in my heart for you.
My heart beats for you every day. I am inspired by you every minute, and I worry about you every second. It is wonderful to have you in my life.

Every beat of my heart, loudly cries your name, I want so much to be with you, oh, please, please, feel the same.
I am looking for a word. I am looking for a whole new word. I am looking for a word. I am looking for a word that nobody knows. I am looking for a word. I am looking for a word that says...that you are the best!
If you are the wind, I am the sand.
If you are the shoe, I am the brush.
If you don't love me, I just wanna die.
    如果你是风,我就是沙;
    如果你是鞋,我就是刷;
    如果你不爱我哦,我就会死。

    推荐指数:☆☆☆☆

    绝杀秘笈:
    幽默诙谐是这个类型的特点,如果你是个外向幽默的人极力推荐这种类型的表白,最后一个的风沙、鞋刷组合的表白不禁让人联想到《还珠格格》里面的一首歌“你是风儿,我是沙,缠缠绵绵绕天涯”,哈哈。

    风险后果:英国阿伯丁大学公布的一项研究结果发现,真诚、直接的表白是最有效的求爱表白方式。如果你不那么灵活机动,不推荐用这款,小心因为说话不到位而对方觉得你不够真诚,聪明反被聪明误。
    贫嘴无度第四式:

Your eyes close, I die; your eyes open, I come back alive. Your eyes close and open again and again, I die and come back time after time.

I will not beat you, not scold you, but torture you with all my love.
Grow old along with me, the best is yet to be.
I love you not because of who you are, but because of who I am when I am with you.
Thank me for loving you no way anyone has ever tried.
My dearest, can I call you like this? If you agree, don’t phone me; if not, please send me this message “I miss you so much.”
If you want a cute baby, and you are still worried about this, then I will advice that you marry me!
My family name is “I”, first name is “love you”, and surname is “miss you”; my cognomen is ”understand you”, appellation is ”feel badly about you”, epithet is “think of you” , book name is “dream of you”, nickname is “chase you”. You can call me I kiss you.

    2009-03-14 08:06:25

Everyone who eat instant noodles before knows how it looks like. It is very easy to cook it instantly by putting the noodles into the boiling water and add in those MSG packets, together with your other ingredients like eggs or vegetables. However, have you ever wonder whether is this the correct way of cooking it? When you first took out the noodles from the packaging, you will notice that the noodles are joined together nicely as a piece. Do you know that in order to make the noodles joined together nicely side by side needs some form of wax coating in order to achieve a presentable instant noodles in front of us. Many people who enjoy eating instant noodles frequently did not really bother too much of it as it seems very normal to everyone to have it nicely displayed in front of us. However, research have shown that the layer of wax coating on the noodles is quite harmful to our body and we should not consume it too frequently. It is advisable to have a break of 2-3 days before we start to eat another packet of instant noodles as our body need about 3 days to clear that layer of wax coating away from our body system. Do you know the danger of having too much wax coating stored in our stomach? It will lead to CANCER if it is stored in our body system for a long period of time。

2 Keys Points to Take Note While Preparing Instant Noodles

      1) Wash the instant noodles with warm water first, stir it and pour away the water containing the wax coating。

      2) Repeat Step 1 and try to stir the noodles again to wash away the wax coating on the noodles before cooking it in a new pot of water。

If you have eaten other type of noodles, you will notice that the store vendor will normally wash the noodles in warm water first to prevent the noodles from sticking together and for the case of instant noodles, the wax coating in the noodles itself is preventing the noodles from sticking together. It is very important to wash away the wax coating while preparing a meal as we do not want our body to be in danger as it will directly impact on us。

Importance of not eating too much instant noodles It is very important that we should follow the key points while having our meal of instant noodles. It is very easy to cook instant noodle but we must take note of the harm it may cause to our body if we consume too much of it. Imagine having too much of that wax coating in your stomach... omg I Don't Want To Take Too Much Of That.. as it may cause cancer if it stuck in our stomach for a long period. Hope this article will let more people have self-awareness of the hidden danger of instant noodles and thus eat safely and stay healthy.

    2009-03-14 08:02:46

    By nature 本性上

Men are polygamous by nature. There's no doubt and there's nothing to debate about it。

Women are monogamous by nature. The same holds true with this fact. When a woman loves--it's now and forever. More or less they tend to love now and forever. Most women have hard time forgetting their first love。

      Physically 身体上

Men are physically stronger than women. This is very evident on the physical differences between men and women。

      Emotionally 情感上

Women are emotionally stronger than men。

Though we tend to see women crying all the time they are stronger emotionally. Men easily get depress and there are more men admitted in mental asylums。

Men are more aggressive than women.

Men proved their aggressiveness through their being adventurous. They are at the same time more aggressive sexually。

Men are possessive and women are submissive.

Though men are polygamous, they want their women to be theirs alone. Most women submit themselves to the will of their man。

Men have better sense of humor than women.

As evidence, there are more movie comedians than comediennes。

Women mature earlier than men.

At age 17 most women are already matured, whether physically or emotionally。

Women are more caring than men.

From the womb until we grow it's our mother who took care of us。

Women have better sense of smell than men.

Women can smell whether a companion smoked a cigarette, or sipped wine, wearing perfume or not and many others。

Women are more talkative than men.

It has been a proven fact that women speak more frequent than men。

Women's favorite past time is gossiping.

It's the cheapest form of entertainment anyway。

    2009-03-08 08:40:17

Feeling regret about having bought something is a very unpleasant sort of unhappiness. Even with my under-buying ways, I sometimes come home with something I didn't really need to buy. Stores use extremely clever strategies to winkle customers into making purchases. Here are some strategies to make sure you don't make purchases you regret:

http://cache4.asset-cache.net/xt/200464127-001.jpg?v=1&g=DV&s=11. Be wary of the check-out areas.

There are lots of enticing little items here; ask yourself if you really need something before you add it to your pile. How many times have I picked up a jar of Balmex?

http://cache3.asset-cache.net/xt/83024202.jpg?v=1&g=DV&s=12. Get in and get out.

The more time you spend in a store, the more you're likely to buy. Even better: don't even go in the store. Then you definitely won't buy.

http://cache1.asset-cache.net/xt/83300752.jpg?v=1&g=DV&s=13. Question the need for an upgrade.

You might want that device with a slick new function, or to get the improved version of what you have now, but do you really need it?

http://cache4.asset-cache.net/xt/82112784.jpg?v=1&g=MXA&s=14. Be polite to salespeople, but don't feel like they're your new best friends.

Don't buy something because you're worried about hurting their feelings or having made them do a lot of work helping you or explaining products to you. At the same time, be respectful of clerks' efforts.

    http://cache4.asset-cache.net/xt/83966868.jpg?v=1&g=BRF&s=15. Don't shop when you're in a hurry or when you're hungry.

    http://cache3.asset-cache.net/xt/83024204.jpg?v=1&g=DV&s=16. Stick to a list.

I've found that after I've decided to buy one thing, I'm far more likely to throw in other impulse items, because I know that I'm committed to going through the hassle of paying.

http://cache4.asset-cache.net/xt/75904452.jpg?v=1&g=DV&s=17. Beware of sale items.
Beware of sale items, which make you feel like you can't afford not to buy, or limited-time offers, which make you feel like you have to take advantage of a special deal. If you don't need or want something, it's not a good deal, not matter how cheap it is. A friend of mine told her husband, "I got this 50% off!" and he answered, "That means it was 50% ON."

http://cache3.asset-cache.net/xt/83024201.jpg?v=1&g=DV&s=18. Don't buy anything that you don't know you need--this is especially important with clothes.
If you're not careful, you can buy a pair of pants marked down 75%, then realize that you can't really wear them unless you buy the right shoes to go with them.

http://cache1.asset-cache.net/xt/83899593.jpg?v=1&g=PCF&s=19. Choose cash or credit card.
Some people find it far harder to spend actual physical cash; other people find that paying cash makes a purchase seem trivial, even when the dollar amount is high. Know whether you're more inclined to overspend with cash or credit cards--and leave that payment method at home.
