  • two orders two mistakes

    Last month,I got two orders,one of them was from Germany and the other was from Spain..Although the quantity is not very large,I treated them very carefully.

    We made the delivery for Germany client on 1st,June,before the delivery,something unwilly happened,the test was failed at her side,she took the phthalate testing on TUV company,and the phthalate was failed when the report came out,she told me the result at the first time she got the news.

    Actually before the order,I had promised her that we could pass the phthalate and our supplier had provided the test report,so I just trusted our supplier that he could passed it.The Germany client trusted me so she placed the order,she also told me that she would take a testing for the production goods,I said I was sure about that.

    But now!!!! The test was failed,she just got the air part(actuuly the goods were delivered with two parts--air part and sea part),at that time,I was so afraid that she would refused to accept the sea part,she only made 30% deposit,if she refused,I have no way and we would made a loss.Fortunately,she said that she had to accept the good because the goods are on ship,and for phthalate,she would try to solve it by herself.I was so glad that she accepted the goods and would pay us the balance,but I was sorry that I ate my words.I am not sure whether she will place order to me again,she said that she was not satisfied with me.I always rememberd that word.

    Another case is the Spain client,I promised he that we would make the delivery at 10th,June.He accepted.But now we found the the printing is incorrect,the printer printed the pattern at the opposite side,terrible. Now we had to change them,although it is difficult to identify which is the front and which is the back,but we have to print the pattern on the front,so I arranged to purchase the material and print today,for delivery on 10th,June,it is impossible now.I had sent an Email to the client to explain that we needed to postpone the delivery date,the client hasn't replied me yet.I wish he can accept the delay.But I am not sure whether this clients is easy to deal with or not.

    I haven't come to my blog for a long time,recently I got very busy with my work,so many Emails and quotations that I had to deal with,luckily,I got a little order from my client.How happy am I!

    This morning,when I opened my Email,there was no Email to reply,I am very happy that I will be relax today,and just do some personal thing as I like,so I come back to my blog,when I saw so many friends are still active in their space,and just browse my blog,and left their track,thank you for all of you,my friends.

    Actully,there are many idea that I want to share in my blog,about work,love,life and so on,I experienced a lot as an unusual way,maybe you can express your own opinion about that,later I will write them down here

    When the client finish the deposit,what we need to do is purchasing the material and accessory for the mass production.First caculate how much we need,the ask for a ideal schedual for delivery.Meaningwhile,arrange the schedual in our own factory when the material arrives.we should make sure that we need to finish the production before the delivery date which discussed with our clients before.In the same time,we should contact with the forwarder about the shipment.To remember ,quality control will be a  most important part.

    If all the thing are well done,mass production was finished as the schedual,we need to notify the client about the shipment,after the forward notify us about the B/L,we can ask for the balance money,or we will not express the oringnal B/L to the client,but before the signature of B/L,when the client pay the balance,we can tele- release the B/L,which will save a lot of time for both of the parties.

    All above are the procedure of foreign trade,I want to share with all my friends that want to invole the foreign trade.Actually,these all happaned in my first order from my client.

    To be a foreign trader,what should we do in such a small factory.

    To get an order,there are so many things we need to do,first,send some introduction letter about our company,when some of our potential clients got interests and need samples for approval.

    It is not a simple thing,first we should find the material from our supplier.Then arrange the printing part,we should send the pieces to the printing part far away.Then just wait a long time for printing.Then arrange the samples making.To finish the sample we need to take almost 10 days when the products.When the sample is confirmed,bargain the price and negoication the delivery date with the clients.it will take one week's time.When there is no dault about the price,we need to urge the order,send some proforma invoice for deposit.maybe some clients will delay the time for deposit………………
