The English corner in Shenzhen

Yesterday I went to the English Corner in lichi park in Shenzhen.It took nearly 2 hours to get there,and I have never been there,so I didn't know there it was located,one of my colleagues also went there,we said we could meet there.So I called her about the specific place,but she couldn't give a correct direction at that time,so it also took me about 30 minutes to arrive the English corner.

When I found the place,it was not what I expected,there were not many people,I can remember that when I attended the English corner in campus,there are many people,and they were conversable,and sometimes we can be invited to talk in any topic.Any way,it is not in school,and it is enough. But yesterday,I could hear some group talked in Chinese,unbelieveable.

Actually we can meet some people there,and can make friends there,they are from different company with variety career,and they are with age from 18 to 70,I think it really make sense to learn more besides English itself.I can remember that there was Australian,who was about 40 years old.His tone was excellent,but it seemed his speed was so slowly,I don't know why.

Then I asked a question,"Why do you speak so slowly,do you try to make us follow you easily?""yes,"if I speak in my normal way,I think your Chinese people can't follow mean "He answerd in a proud way.Actually I don't think so,if he spoke so slowly,it really make me terrible,and I couldn't understand his mean fluently.I would rather hear him speak in a normal way.But I learnt something from he,when we asked his career,he said he was a engineer.And I continued asked what aspects he involved in,he told me a lot of information about the engineer,In China,we can see many career that can use engineer,such as sales engineer,computer engineer,web engineer,and so on,actually these are not correct,the engineer should be somethhing related structure,our Chinese people just abused the word.

So many stories to be shared,maybe next time when I go to there,I will write down more in this blog.
