    FTA....
    short for free trade agreemment...
    When the French president said that he would not attend the Olympic ceremony in order to warn the CCP against his Tibet crackdown, Helen Clark was licking Wen's ass on Monday this week....
    20 years ago, NZ decided this "Zero Tariff Policy", which caused hundreds of NZ local enterprises bankrupt. In another word, we allow oversea products flowing into NZ without charging any tax...
    Is Zero Tariff a good thing?
    And why 82% of the whole nation voted for this Zero Tariff Policy?
    My opinion is it is definitely a good thing but it won't work best if other countries still keep their tariff...
    Long time agao, NZ was one of the biggest car manufacturers in the world....when Japanese cars were invented and proved to perform better and cost less, the NZ government used to charge 39% tariff on their cars...
    Therefore, NZ consumers were not happy....if we can get a very good car at a much lower price, why shouldn't we?
    So in the end, the NZ Consumer Committe decided to lobby the government and the Zero Tariff Policy, then, was developed consequentely.
    No doubt this policy will benefit all the NZ domestic consumers because we can spend much less but get sth much better...
    But will it be good to the NZ local manufacturers?
    It is controversory because some people think local protection is good and important for the survival of the nation (that's what the CCP believes)....
    but I have different opinions...When you charge 0 tariff, the local manufacturers will face stronger competitions...in the long run, some of them will bankrupt.
    But some of them will end like more competitive and become better. For instance, Fisher&Packer. F&P used to make white goods (fridges, washing machines, ect..), when all the other brands like Philips, Sony came into NZ with no tariff, F&P realized the competitive situation and adapted different management approaches and production line.....Today, F&P is still the best seller in the NZ local market and they even exported their stuff to America, England and Japan....
    Okay, this is what I think: only competitions can make a country really better and strong......same to the politicians, why the CCP can do whatever they want? because there is no competitions...no one dares to compete with the CCP because they have 16 nukes...

     

    After a bit of study on the NZ import history, let's come back to the original story about this FTA...
    6 parties of 8 in NZ agreed to sign this FTA with China alhough the most concern is still about your Tibet problem because the NZ government is still worried that this FTA will negatively affect NZ reputation on Human rights and democracy.
    But the Industrial Party is very keen on this FTA because China even charge 29% on our "NZ Nature" Ice-cream (they charge more on our other goods)....which means, if you pay $20 Chinese dollars for one scoop of our ice-cream, $6 dollars goes to your government pocket...
    That's not fair on the Chinese consumers but the CCP is determined to protect their little fragile infants who can't make better ice-cream than NZ Nature...
    Therefore, the Industrial Party who represent 41 enterprises in NZ wants Helen to sign this FTA so that NZ Nature can sell more ice-cream in China with a more competitive price....
    In the last interview on TV, Helen said she would carefully address the human right issues to Wen when she visited China on Monday...please notice the word she uses: "carefully"...
    The content of the FTA is still not published yet and one of the details, according to the NZ Herald, is:
    "China will impose 0 tariff on NZ products but NZ has to allow 1500 Chinese workers into NZ every year even they cannot speak one English word..."
    Oh, my God......
    I am sure not many of us will like to hear this...
    Imagine those 1500 people come here with no communication skills....the only way they can survive is to work in Chinese companies here....And we know how nasty the Chinese companies treat their employees and they love screwing their wages to the bottom in return they help those workers get our passport...
    1500 people, man?
    How can they melt into our society?
    How can they communicate with us?
    Believe or not, it will only cause more white people being racist and create more social problems in NZ...
    God, I have no idea how Helen Clark allows this super stupid deal happening on the earth and no wonder on the newspaper, she get her new nick name: "ASS LICKER".

  • 58 billion USD on nukes......

    The CCP anouced this week that they are going to spend at least 58 billion USD on their military this year, which is about 19% of your governmet annual income...
    Oh, GOD, GOD, GOD....
    We have lots of people who can't go to school...
    We have lots of people who don't have electricity...
    We have lots of old people who need to be looked after better...
    We have people dying from diseases...
    But sorry, here is the 58 Billion USDs and we are not going to use it on you guys...
    We will feed the armies, which can help us to stay in power forever...
    What a great government!
    Oh, yes..you can argue that the US government is spending a lot on their military too...
    But that's their F problem, don't tell me that you only compete your military force with Yankess?
    at least, in America, all children can go to school and get free eductaion...
    But you are different....you have 1.4 billion people coming first before your super power nukes...
    If who wants to try again to tell me your government is always doing good on its people, you can just save your bullshit now...

  • Who took our newspaper?

    This Monday, there were 8 boxes of newspaper missing...
    That's funny...because people steal wallets....why newspaper?
    Finally, the police found that the thieve involve 12 Chinese students...
    And the reson why they steal the newspaper is:
    "We think the newspaper is not reporting correctly on China and Tibet's problems..."
    WTF?!
    Chinese students always make our eyes right open...once again, they did it!
    I know Chinese are pretty home-schooled but those cases are very rare, I believe...
    Hey, children, here you learn:
    We are democratic....so if you are not happy about sth people write about China...you write sth and post it to NZ herald and show your opinions...
    Or you can march on the street...and no one cares...
    But please don't act like 5 years old and steal our newspapers...that's very LOW...
    In China, if the CCP is not happy about a piece of news, they will delete it...but our media is more than happy to see people write differently because that's how they can sell more newspapers....
    So please use our way, which is democratic way to show your love and faith to your CCP....
    In the end, if the CCP pay you to steal our newspaper, please find yourself a proper job...don't do this for 50 cents...that's not fair pay, you know...at least, you should charge them at $50 USD...

  • From JAFAs to POKEs....

    Hi guys, sorry I have been really busy lately....
    After a looooong discussion, Brad and I decide to move to Pokekoe, which is a place 40 minutes drive away from Auckland.
    So we have been busy looking at all the properties down there...
    Finally we find this 3 bedrooms home with two inter garages...brand new and have a little garden around 200 square meters...
    We are very pleased about the result and have signed the agreement and will move in before 20, April (hopefully....)
    I am going to England on 20th of April so it will be the best choice for us if we can move in before that...
    Last weekend, we drove around Pokekoe for quite a while and found people down there were pretty traditional and conservative....
    I don't think they will like JAFAs....but who give a shit anyway...
    For people who have read all my past articles, I am sure you know the meaning of JAFAs...It is short for "JUST ANOTHER FUCKING AUCKLANDER"...
    Why people don't like Aucklanders?
    I have no idea....Maybe we are richer, happier and have poncy dogs....

  • History, history history....

    The most frequent word that you can hear from Chinese and Maoris are "History"...
    The other day, I posted a message in yahoo.co.nz saying that "NZ has 160 history and therefore, its architechtures cannot compete with European countries"...
    Then a Maori said: "You stupid, we have more than 1500 years history and you just have been brainwashed by the fucking government"...
    Then I was thinking: oh, not again, mate...Maoris always love telling you this is because of history and that is also...but honestly, who gives a shit?...
    I replied him: "Yes, you guys may have 1500 years history....but know what? I am not interested....as far as I am concerned, NZ's history starts from DAY ONE when white people came here becasue before that, this island was called some stupid Maori name NOT New Zealand!"
    Why people always like mentioning their history? I have no idea...maybe they run out of reasons? or maybe their history is the only thing left over for them to feel a bit proud?
    Last time, I watched a video on youtube....below it there were a few comments..
    A Japanese guy said sth on the Tibet probelm, which I reckon was quite neutral..not rude either...
    Then all the Chinese turned mad on him/her....and they all started to accuse Japanese for what they did to Chinese during World War II...
    Again, always history first...I am thinking instead, why don't you guys more focus on what they are doing wrong currently... but not what they did hundred years ago? for example, they kill whales...
    But even that is not appropriate becasue it is always better to argue on the point which the Japanese person mentioned...
    It is stupid to attack each other while leaving the original topic there alone...

    why Tibetans are not happy?
