  • I want to say...

    2008-03-29 18:59:39

Weather in Yi Chang is so strange. It was sunny just several days ago. But now it is raining. The sunny spring days disappear.  The rain and the cold make me feel we are back to winter from spring.  So terrible!

I have difficulty communicating with my roomate. She has bad temper and I cannot stand the way she speaks to me.  Friend Funny told me I should not be so  small-minded.  I think so now. With the small mind, both of us cannot live an easy and confortable life. In order to focus on higher goals, I should not act like a small-minded person.

Mom is sick at home. Elder sister is on the train to Fuzhou. She is too busy to write sth. in her blog and chat on QQ with friends. I feel sorry for her. And as the most carefree person in the family,  I should be independent in mind, and make every minute count to make achivements. Feel contented with what I have owned. Stop complaining, coz it is useless and has no promise.

At last, do not quarrel online.  It doesn't work. Nobody can change each other's ideas. The best and the only way for our Party to convince other nations is to make a stronger country under its leadership. And I have every confidence in our CCP. It has been proved by history, not those who take sth. for granted, and it defenitely will not be changed by ant-CCP. Nor will our faith.I will gradually become  a member of CCP. To know it better and to think deeply about it are my tasks.

Life cannot be what you want it to be, unless you can do sth. for it. No pains, no gains.

  • The legend of the bird

    2008-03-27 11:41:42

            http://www.jjnwx.com/

There is a legend about a bird which sings just once in its life, more sweetly than any other creature on the face of the earth. From the moment it leaves the nest it searches for a thorn tree, and does not rest until it has found one. Then, singing among the savage branches, it impales itself upon the longest, sharpest spine. And, dying, it rises above its own agony to outcarol the lark and the nightingale. One superlative song, existence the price. But the whole world stills to listen, and God in His heaven smiles. For the best is only bought at the cost of great pain….

So  far  I  have  several  loved  books-Jane  Eyre,   the  legend  of  the  Thorn  Bird,   Gone  with  the  wind,   and  Tess.   I  have  special  feelings  for  each  of  them.  Recently  I  am  reading  The  legend  of  the  Thorn  Bird.  You  know  it  teels  us  the  love  stories  especially  the  love  story  of  the  Padres  Ralph  and  the  actress  Maggie.

When  I  was  a  little  girl,  I  liked  the  majical  legend.  Now  after  reading  the  book,  I  have  a  little  understanding  of  it,  of  the  love  betwwen a  man  and  a  woman.  I  think  social  factors  should  not  interfere  pure  love.   On  the  other  side,  the  stuggle  agaist  social  interference  has  made  love  more  beautiful.   And,  if  true  love  exists  betwwen  a  man  and  a  woman,   understanding  of  each  other  exists.  On  the  contrary,  the  so-called  love  is  nothing  but  a  prison  for  a  free  mind.   As  for  myself, love  becomes  what  I  will  not  let  go  once  I  sense  it  and  feels  it  in  my  heart.  Now,  I  have  different  opinions from  Monica's  opinions  about  love.  A  couple  days  ago,  I  came  across  that  article,  in  my  reply  there.  I  said an  independent  female  should  not  be  trapped  in  love.  However,   now  I  doubt  whether  a  woman  or  a  man  who  truly  loves  the  other  side  is  able  to  avoid  being  trapped  in  love.

         So  much.

  • To win is to go all out

    2008-03-25 11:42:10

Recently, one of my friends  told  me  she  melt  difficulty  in  balancing  study  and  work  and  she  was  bothered  that  she  was  slow  in  action.  I  gave  her  valuable  advice.   However,  what  I  didn't  say  was  my  doubt  about  her  going  all  out  to  solve  her  problems.   She  was  a  smart  girl  but  she  didn't  realize  we  could  be  what  we  wanted  to  be  if  we  always  go  all  out.

Many  of  us  face  different  problems  everyday.   When  they  are  piled there,  higher  than  mountains,   we  feel  so  bothered  and  begin  to  complain.  But,  to  complain  is  useless.  Only  with  our own  hands,  can  we  solve  the  problems  and  make  progress,  then  be what  we  want  to  be.   Take  actions  instead  of  waiting  and  complaining.    We  will  find  we  have  every  ability  to  conquer  every  difficulty  and  feel  self-proud!    Never  give  up  the  valuble  decisions  and  choices,  because  you  will  definetly  regret  giving  up  when  you  look  back  on  your  way.   I  have  the  experience.  I  once  thought  I  was  not  capable  in  doing  I  planned,  so  I  gave  up  my  splendid  idea.  When  I  look  back  now,  I  am  so  regretful  now.  There  only  exists  what  you cannot  come  up  with,  no  what  you  cannot  achieve  if  you  go  all  out!  Life  ahould  be  a  mission  of  passion,  and  the  flames  of  passion  should  never  go  out!   Or  else  you  cannot  make  miracles  beyond  you  thought you  could.

Ok,  stop  here,  this  is  my  life  experience  recently.  I  know  what  my  way  ahead  should  be.  Everyone  learns  from  life  and  moves  on!

  • About Olympic Games

    2008-03-19 19:06:45

Recently,  my  advanced  English  teacher  gave  a  new  definition  to  the  word  "God".   G-O-D:   Green,   Ocean,   Design.   This  new  idea  inspired  me  of  thinking  of  it  in  context  with  the  Olympic  Games.   We  al  know  that  China  is  doing  its  utmost  to  hold  a  "green  Olympics,"   a  "hi-tech  Olympics" and "the  people's  Olympics"  in  2008.   One  of  the  key  words  "green"  has  attracted  so  much  attention that  we  Chinese  citizens  should  take  the  opportunity  to  contribute  to  the  Olympic  spirit.  The  Olympics  is  a  grand  gathering  of  people  that  will  carry  forward  the  tradition  of  excellence,  promote  world  peace  and  enchance  friendship  among  the  nations  of  the  world.

As  a  university  student,   I  ask  myself,   "What  can  I  do?   How  can  I   contribute?"   I  remember  the  sentences  describing  the  "Green  Olympics". "Green-colored  sunshine  through  soft  leaves,   all  the  green  days  in  the  growth  rings  telling  legend  to  the  future  and  the  past.  These  green  hopes  in  the  Olympic  rings  are  just  like  warm  hugs  and  brilliant  haloes  under  the  blue  sky  of  Beijing."   What  a  beautiful  picture!   But  still  I  am  faced  with  the  question  of  how  to  make  the  idea  of  "a  green  world"  come  true.

In  my  humble  opinion,   it  is  necessary  to  raise  public  awareness  of  the  importance  of  the  Olympics.   Only  people  who  realize  that  it  will  take  a  united  world  to  achieve  such  great  ideas  will  make  a  difference.   There  is  little  we  cannot  do  in  operation.   Divided,  there  is  little  we  can  do  for  such  a  great  challenge  will  seem  too  large  for  us  to  take  on  individually.  In  addition,  actions  speak  louder  than  words.   Why  talk  about  the  "green  world"   if  we  aren't  willing  to  bend  down  and  pick  up  the  plastic  bottle  near  our  feet?   Although  some  of  us  cannot  be  volunteers  at  the  Olympics,   we  can  all  bear  this  vision  in  mind  and  make  contributions  in  some  other  way.

At  last,   I  conclude  by  imitating  a  few  sentences  from  President  John F. Kennedy's  inangrual  address:   My  friend,  please  ask  not  what  the  Olympic  can  do  for  you;   ask  what  you  can  do  for  it.

  • About 2008 Olympic Games

    2008-03-19 17:34:00

August  8th.2008-  a  day that  we  are  anxiously  awaiting  and  anticipating.  The  coming  of  that  glorious  day  with  its  heroic  achievements  streching  the limits  of  human performance  is  surely  to  inspire  us  all.   The  torch  has  been  passed  to  our  country,  and  for  a  fleeting  moment  in  time,  we  will  see  its  symbolism  for  it  is  symbolic  of  the  possibility  of  a  more  peaceful  and  lovely  world.

This  is  a  historic  occasion.  It  establishes  a  firm  basis  for  confidence  stability,   prosperty  and  growth.   This  is  a  task  for  a  confident  people,  which  is  what  we  have  been  throughout  our  history  and  what  we  are  in  our  deepest  character.

This  is  a  historic  occasion,   it  provides  a  wide  stage  for  charm,   pretige,   and  prominence.   Let  us  show  the  value  to  which  the  world  aspires  and  beautifully  and  distincly  present  it.

This  is  a  historic  occasion.   The  eyes  of  the  world  are  upon  us.   The  hope  and  prayers  of  free-loving  people  everywhere  watch  with  us.   Fir  if  we  believe,   there  is  nothing  we  cannot  achieve.   All  things  are  possible.

Our  nation  has  a  special  place  now  in  the  long  history  of  the  world.   The  essence  of  the  story  is  particularly  unique.   Equiped  with  the  knowledge  that  charm  does  not  only  lie  in  its  fabulous  tradition  and  culture,   our  nation  is  ready  for  a  world  that  lies  united  in  spirit  and  power.   United,  there  is  little  we  can  not  do  in  a  host  of  cooperative  ventures.   Divided,   there  is  little  we  can  do,   for  we  dare  not  meet  a  powerful  challenge.   Therefore,   we  can  see  a  society  of  openness:   open  cities,   open  skies,   open  minds,   and  open  hearts.   Fortunately,   it  is  certain  that  all  of  these  will  be  open  to  all  the  colors  of  the  world  in  the  2008  Olympic  Games.  In  our  hands  will  rest  the  final  success.   We  believe  that.

When  our  aspiration  becomes  reality,   it  will  be  a  unique   Olympics  on  August  8th.   2008.   Let  us  broaden  our  eyes  and  encourage  our  hearts  to  welcome  it.

Zemeckis·Robert
Hanks·Tom
Sinise·Gary
Wright·Robim
Field·Sally

    Olympic Rings

The colours of the interlinked Olympic rings were chosen by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) , to represent the union of the 5 continents , Australia , Africa , America , Asia and Europe and further signify the meeting of the worlds athletes at the Olympic Games.

The plain white background of the Olympic flag is symbolic of peace throughout the games. The five colours of the rings from left to right are blue, black and red across the top with yellow and green along the bottom , these colours may be found on most flags of the world and officially hold no other particular significance , although some believe each colour represents a particular continent.

    The Olympic Rings

    The Olympic Rings

"These five rings -- blue, yellow, black, green and red -- represent the five parts of the world now encompassed by Olympism and ready to compete against each other. Moreover, the six colours (including the white background) thus combined represent those of all nations, without exception. The blue and yellow of Sweden, the blue and white of Greece, the French, English, American, German, Belgian, Italian and Hungarian tricolours, the yellow and red of Spain are side by side with the new Brazilian and Australian flags, the old Japan and the new China. It is a true international emblem."

    Coubertin (Selected Writings II, p. 460, 1913).

As an image of Olympism, Coubertin thought the rings had deep significance: that of the union between men. He multiplied the image to create a total of five rings. He designed and commissioned the Olympic flag to mark the 20th anniversary of the IOC's founding, on 23rd June 1914 in Paris. Coubertin never said nor wrote that he saw a link between the colours of the rings and the continents. For him, the five rings represented the union of the five continents, but the colours were merely those that appeared in all the different national flags at the time.

-- The results of a survey carried out in six countries (Australia, Germany, India, Japan, Great Britain and the USA) in 1995 showed that 92% of those questioned correctly identified the Olympic rings, which made them the most-recognised symbol. They were followed by the McDonald's and Shell emblems (88%), Mercedes (74%) and the United Nations (36%). (SRI Sponsorship Research International).

-- 86% of those questioned associated the Olympic rings with the world's greatest sports event: the Olympic Games. (SRI Sponsorship Research International, 1995).

  • How to deal with papers

http://www.hangzhou.com.cn/20050801/ca852089.htm

  • About Olympic Games in 2008

    2008-03-12 10:28:48

Like the Five Olympic Rings from which they draw their color and inspiration, Fuwa will serve as the Official Mascots of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, carrying a message of friendship and peace -- and good wishes from China -- to children all over the world.

Designed to express the playful qualities of five little children who form an intimate circle of friends, Fuwa also embody the natural characteristics of four of China's most popular animals -- the Fish, the Panda, the Tibetan Antelope, the Swallow -- and the Olympic Flame.

Each of Fuwa has a rhyming two-syllable name -- a traditional way of expressing affection for children in China. Beibei is the Fish, Jingjing is the Panda, Huanhuan is the Olympic Flame, Yingying is the Tibetan Antelope and Nini is the Swallow.

When you put their names together -- Bei Jing Huan Ying Ni -- they say "Welcome to Beijing," offering a warm invitation that reflects the mission of Fuwa as young ambassadors for the Olympic Games.

Fuwa also embody both the landscape and the dreams and aspirations of people from every part of the vast country of China. In their origins and their headpieces, you can see the five elements of nature -- the sea, forest, fire, earth and sky -- all stylistically rendered in ways that represent the deep traditional influences of Chinese folk art and ornamentation.

Spreading Traditional Chinese Good Wishes Wherever They Go

In the ancient culture of China, there is a grand tradition of spreading good wishes through signs and symbols. Each of Fuwa symbolizes a different blessing -- and will honor this tradition by carrying their good wishes to the children of the world. Prosperity, happiness, passion, health and good luck will be spread to every continent as Fuwa carry their invitation to Beijing 2008 to every part of the globe.

At the heart of their mission -- and through all of their work -- Fuwa will seek to unite the world in peace and friendship through the Olympic spirit. Dedicated to helping Beijing 2008 spread its theme of One World, One Dream to every continent, Fuwa reflect the deep desire of the Chinese people to reach out to the world in friendship through the Games -- and to invite every man, woman and child to take part in the great celebration of human solidarity that China will host in the light of the flame in 2008.

In China's traditional culture and art, the fish and water designs are symbols of prosperity and harvest. And so Beibei carries the blessing of prosperity. A fish is also a symbol of surplus in Chinese culture, another measure of a good year and a good life.

The ornamental lines of the water-wave designs are taken from well-known Chinese paintings of the past. Among Fuwa, Beibei is known to be gentle and pure. Strong in water sports, she reflects the blue Olympic ring.

Jingjing makes children smile -- and that's why he brings the blessing of happiness wherever he goes. You can see his joy in the charming naivety of his dancing pose and the lovely wave of his black and white fur. As a national treasure and a protected species, pandas are adored by people everywhere. The lotus designs in Jingjing's headdress, which are inspired by the porcelain paintings of the Song Dynasty (A.D.960-1234), symbolize the lush forest and the harmonious relationship between man and nature. Jingjing was chosen to represent our desire to protect nature's gifts -- and to preserve the beauty of nature for all generations. Jingjing is charmingly naïve and optimistic. He is an athlete noted for strength who represents the black Olympic ring.

In the intimate circle of Fuwa, Huanhuan is the big brother. He is a child of fire, symbolizing the Olympic Flame and the passion of sport -- and passion is the blessing he bestows. Huanhuan stands in the center of Fuwa as the core embodiment of the Olympic spirit. And while he inspires all with the passion to run faster, jump higher and be stronger, he is also open and inviting. Wherever the light of Huanhuan shines, the inviting warmth of Beijing 2008 -- and the wishful blessings of the Chinese people -- can be felt. The fiery designs of his head ornament are drawn from the famed Dunhuang murals -- with just a touch of China's traditional lucky designs. Huanhuan is outgoing and enthusiastic. He excels at all the ball games and represents the red Olympic ring.

Like all antelopes, Yingying is fast and agile and can swiftly cover great stretches of land as he races across the earth. A symbol of the vastness of China's landscape, the antelope carries the blessing of health, the strength of body that comes from harmony with nature. Yingying's flying pose captures the essence of a species unique to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, one of the first animals put under protection in China. The selection of the Tibetan Antelope reflects Beijing commitment to a Green Olympics. His head ornament incorporates several decorative styles from the Qinghai-Tibet and Sinkiang cultures and the ethnic design traditions of Western China. Strong in track and field events, Yingying is a quick-witted and agile boy who represents the yellow Olympic ring.

Every spring and summer, the children of Beijing have flown beautiful kites on the currents of wind that blow through the capital. Among the kite designs, the golden-winged swallow is traditionally one of the most popular. Nini's figure is drawn from this grand tradition of flying designs. Her golden wings symbolize the infinite sky and spread good-luck as a blessing wherever she flies. Swallow is also pronounced "yan" in Chinese, and Yanjing is what Beijing was called as an ancient capital city. Among Fuwa, Nini is as innocent and joyful as a swallow. She is strong in gymnastics and represents the green Olympic ring.

  • Information about April Fool's Day

    2008-03-11 18:02:08

    Have you been tricked?
    A girl laughing and pointing
    Ha ha! Tricked you!
1st April is a day to be careful, or you could easily get tricked by someone. It’s April Fool’s Day, a day when people traditionally like to try to make a fool of someone else and laugh at them.

There are lots of theories surrounding the origins of the day, but one explanation is connected with the change in the calendar in the 16th century, which meant that 1st April was no longer the beginning of the year. Those who still celebrated the New Year on 1st April were called fools.

So what kind of pranks do people play on April Fool’s Day? Well, there are lots of simple tricks that you can play on your friends. For example, you could wear a black sweater and pull a piece of white thread through it, so that people try to pull it off. You could change the time on someone’s alarm clock so that they’re late for work. Or glue a coin to the floor and see how many people try to pick it up.

All these are small-scale practical jokes which you might play on one other person or a few people. But there’s also a tradition of large companies attempting to fool a lot of people. For example a burger restaurant once claimed that they were introducing a left-handed burger!

In particular, the media often try to make people believe something which is not true. Newspapers publish some ludicrous stories every year, although some of them are actually true. It’s entertaining to try to guess which stories are true and which are fake. In the April Fool’s stories, they often include a clue to the fact that it’s a joke. For example the name of an ‘expert’ quoted in the article might be an anagram of ‘April Fool’.

Radio and television programmes have also fooled many people by broadcasting reports which are untrue. One programme announced the invention of an amazing new weight-loss product - water which contained minus calories!

And one of the most famous hoaxes ever was broadcast by the BBC itself in 1957! A very serious news programme called Panorama reported on the poor spaghetti harvest in Switzerland, and showed pictures of farmers picking spaghetti from trees! Hundreds of people were taken in and wrote to the BBC asking how to grow their own spaghetti.

  • My feelings about life

    2008-03-06 11:52:25

Time  really  flies.   Everytime  I  surf  the  Internet,   several  hours  pass  by  quickly.   So  I  always  think  how  quickly  a  person's  life  passes.   several  hours,  many  hours,  countless  hours,  and  then  you  are  left  with  several  hours  and  then  you  die!   So  treasuring  time  is  treasing  life  itself,   really!

The  second  thinking  is  that  happiness  doesn't  come  easily.   We  can  feel  it  easily  when  it  comes  while  we  cannot  create  it  easily.   As  for me,  being  unhappy  is  the  usual  condition,  so  I  have  been  used  to  it!   I  don't  care  about  whethrt  I  am  happy  or  not!

The  last  but  not  the  least  point  is  that  never  say  bad  words  about  life  however  hard  it  is.  Live  your  life  and  love  it.   Continue  to  do  what  you  should  do  and  keep  up.   You  can  choose  to  be  down  and  desperate,  and  you  can  also  choose  to  cheer  up,  that  all  depends  on  you!

  • Small world!

    2008-03-05 11:21:37

My  god,  how  can  that  be?  Can  you  guess  what  happenned  last  night?

At  dinner  last  night,  I  got  friend  Fanny'  phone  number.  Then  in  the  evening  I  sent  two  messages  to  her.   However  she  didn't  reply  them  and  asked  me  who  I  was.  I  was  so  confused!   Later  a  call  came.  I  answer  it,  only  to  find  I  didn't  know who  called  me  on  the  phone.  He  said  I  sent  him  messages.  The  I  got  to  know  that  I  had  the  wrong  number.  I  asked  him  whether  he  knew  Fanny,  he  said  he  was!   It  turned  out  to  a  friend  of  Fanny's  boyfriend  who  answered  the  phone!  My  god,  I  used  the  wrong  number   while I met  one  who  was  connected  to  the  number's  giver  Fanny  and  she  didn't  know  it  at  all!

Untill  now,  I  cannot  tell how  the  whole  matter  happened.  I  have  to  say "Small  world!"

  • An introduction of Chinese in America---Chinatown

    2008-03-02 15:26:07

Chinatown  is  called  Tang  Ren  Jie.  Do  you  know  the  source  of  its  Chinese  name?  Let  me  tell  you.  In  Chinese  history,   Tang  was a  strong  dinasty.   Overseas  Chinese  and  Chinese  call them  "Tang  People"   The  place  where  they  gather  is  called  "Chinatown"   The  biggest  Chinatown  in  America  is  in  Sanfrancisco,  which  dated  back  to  the  year  of  1850.  Chinese  workers  went  their  and  developed  South Shore  of  America.   In  the  very  beginning,  they  ran  teahouses,   eating  houses  and  then  tofu  houses  and  and  washing  houses,  which  were  intended  for  Chinese  workers  there.  Later,  more  and  more  local  people  patronized  these  places  and  began  calling  the  living zone  "Chinatown".

Chinatown  is  a home  for  overseas  Chinese,  a  gathering  place  for  new  overseas  Chinese. It  is  a  place  called  "a  small  china"  by  Americans.  In  spare  time,  they  often  go  to  play  golf  with  friends  especially  the  local  people.  Chinese  businessmen  also  go  to  concerts  and  theaters.  The  activities  are popular among people  who  ahve  high  status  and  succeed  in the buisiness  field.   As  for  students,  they  like  to  go  to  the  cinemas  in  their  free  time  and  take  part  in  excercise  clubs.   Regardless  of  the  entertainments,  America  is  not  a  paradize  for  overseas  Chinese.

In  many  Chinese' s  eyes,  America  is  a  paradize  for  living  and  enjoying  life.  Located  there,  they  can  make  more  money  and  have  a  cozy  life.  However,  every  coin  has  two  sides.  It  is  not  as  good  as  they  imajined.  Many  overseas  Chinese  lead  a  hard  life.  Let's  introduce  you  more  specific  information  to  know  more  about  life  there.

Get  to  know  life  of  learners.  They  mostly  have  received  a  good  education.  However,  they  have  little  fame  in  their  career.  They  prefer  choosing  to  mingle  with  Chinese  people  there  with  whom  they  can  talk  openly.  Because  they  have  the  same  culture  and  lifestyle  and  hold  the  same  beliefs,  they  can  understand  each  other  better.

Perhaps,  many  Chinese  take  it  for  granted  that  America  is  full  of  gold.  To  go  abroad  also  becomes  the  dream  of  more  and  more  Chinese.  But  I  want  to  say  that  East,  west,  home  is  is  the  best.  On  one  side,  our  occupational  immigrants,  that  are  our  blue-collars,  are  mostly  employed  in  some  low-tech  industries.  For  example,   many  Chinese  get  manual  occupations  such  as  workers,  builders,  cleaners,  cooks  and  so  on.  On  ther  other  side,  their  are  also  many  people  from  Fujian  and  Guangdong(two  seaside  provinces)  provinces  choosing  restaurant  industry  as  their  occupation.  They  don't  have  high  qualifications,  nor  can  they  get  respect  from local Americans. In  a  word,  in  America,  Chinese  staying  in  the  high-tech  industry  are  just  the  minority.  However,  the  American  employers  have  a very good  impression  on  Chinese  workers  for  they  are  diligent  and  good  for  management  and  can  take  work  of  high  quality.  Although  many  Chinese  people  are  mostly  employed  in  some  junior  occupations,  they  make  a  great  contribution  to  the  prosperty  of  America.

About  the  way  overseas  Chinese  celebrate  the  festivals.  They  use  the  traditional  way  to  celebrate  the  traditional  festival-Spring  Festival.  Usually  at  this  time,  it  is  very  clamorous  in  the  street.  Many  people  go  out  of  their  houses  and  hold  all  kinds  of  activities  to express  their  happiness.  The  activities  include  dragon  dance  and  lion  dance  performances.   Some  people  write  Spring  Festival  scrolls  for  America.  At  this  time,  many  Americans  also  celebrate  Spring  Festival  with  Chinese.  But  for  Chinese,  it  is  very  hard  to  adjust  to  American  environment  because  of  different  cultures.

At  usual  time,  their  lives  are  not  very  good.  Many  Chinese  shops  are  24-hour  open.  There  are  also  some  strange  phnomena  which local Americans  cannot  understand.   The  first  thing, a big  Chinese family  puck  in  a  small  and  old  house,  but  they  try  thrie  hard  and  manage  to  buy  an  expensive  car.   Or  they  own  a  luxurious  house  but  the  inner  wquipment  and  decoration  cannot  match  it.

About  business.  Chinese  run  small  businesses.  Coz  Chinese  are  unwilling  to  cooperate,  A  couple's  owning  a  company  or  a  single  person's  owning  a  company  are  popular  types  of  business.  There  is  no  exception  of  well-educated  Chinese.  To  be  more  competetive  to  foreign  companies  and  bussinessmen,  Chinese  businessmen  should  join  hands.

The  unsatifying  point  of  Chinatown  is  that  the  street  is  messy  and  dirty.  It  is  much  more  dirty  than  American  communities.  However  Chinese  do  much  well  at  their  homes,  which  Americans  cannot  understand.  We  can  see  Chinese  lack  public  awareness  from  this.
