Mother's Day is coming, this article is dedicated to all the great mothers.

      In this picture, we can see a mother who is very old, unable to see clearly, probably very weak. What else can you see? Do you see the inner world of a mother living in the countryside?Yes, I will tell you something about an ordinary mother, an ordinary woman among millions, my mom.

   She was born in the 1960s, and now she is at her fourty five. I see how she is getting older and older within years because of nonstop labor work. I can also see how she becomes more and more strong-willed with the change of the family.

   She was born in a farming family, which was decided by the unfair God. Though she struggled to finish her Junior High School education, she was unable to further more. In this case, she stayed in the countryside, and became a farmer. The farm work is hard, as you can imajine. However, she makes every effort to support the whole family, through working day and night. At last, both her daughters receive college education and become well-educated persons. What a great mother! She gave us life, and sends us to the world of knowledge. We not only gain flesh and blood from her, but also gain  souls.

  My mother just does most mothers in the countryside does. They are very very poor but they have broad mind. Maybe they can never eat delicious food throughout their life, just to support their children's tuition fees. My roomate Michelle's mom is in charge of a restunrant, and she works from 2:00am. In this way, she has sent three daughters to universities.You can imajine how hard a life she is living!

   Maybe in many people's mind, the image of a countryside woman is like this: Hard-working but dull,lacking of knowledge,  sometimes rude, and easy to quarrel with neighbourhood. In fact, they are the most unselfish group in the society. They are the most loving people in the world, and they are also playing the most moving figures in our life. Aren't they?

 

Everyday at night before going to bed, I read a pericope of the Analects of Confucius.Everytime I read it, I regain the peace of my soul.the other day, I read the pericope of savoir-vivre,and shared it with friends here.I was so happy a friend said he learnt a lot from me. Reading the Analects of Confucius can make people of modern times wiser.Today I am gonna share some knowledge gained again.

   In mordern times many people feel they are unhappy,sometimes for no reasons, sometimes for many reasons.No matter what the reasons exactly are, we should know one of the reasons is that we are troubled by interests.Sometimes interests appear in a way of fame and gain.Sometimes they appear only in a way of the others' approval and praises and the the increase in your wealth. Confucius teaches us not to be so eager about interets. He looks down upon those eager interest pursuants. He believes persuing morality and justice.  Only with this self-cultivation, can a person make sacrifice to his country.

   Recently, many Chinese state they love their motherland,and can sacrifice to protect their motherland. In fact, in their real life, they spend most of their time on persuing the small benefits of their own. Concerning the national affairs and others' interests, they just show indifference.

   Though what Confucius teaches were mostly applied in his time, we can regain the power of soul to save the lost great morality and justice of a person in mordern times.

                                

      Somewhere, sometime it is gone quietly.I even cannot grab the tail of happiness. It disappears in front of me. I keep quiet,all the time, not wanting to talk with anybody on anything. I just wander,wander,in a place where I cannot find the way home. Don't know why,don't want to reason why, the most familiar ones become strange, the most happy time becomes burden, the most valuable things become nothing. I talk, but on nonsense. I struggle to cheer up, but in vain. The idea of suicide enters my head, but I know I have to go on, go on living, creating and wishing one day, happiness comes back again. Why? I have to be back to my bad mood again and again? Why? I cannot slow down when I am reluctant to go on, why? the people betwwen me cannot give me courage. Why? Their behavīors influnce me badly. I don't know. Once more, I sit here, in front of the computer, asking questions...

     I shed tears but unhappiness keeps welling up. My heart is like a dark night, no light, no stars, as if I sink down in heaven. Life becomes valuableless, all the things attached to life become valuableless. I know I am suffering...Not from others, but from my soul, the dark spot of my soul. I can never,never weep it out,untill the day I die.I want to live on, but I don't know how to conquer unhappiness; I want to smile often, but I don't know how to make my soul clear and cheeful as ever;I want to make achievements, but I don't know how long and how far I can go. The uncertain and unknown part of my future occupies my mind and keeps me off happiness. I am here, begging, and wishing a little bit sunshine. But outside, it is dark night. Night comes.

            Lun Yu, a book in which Kong zi's students reported his words and behavīors. For thousands of years, Kong zi has been Chinese's teacher. In modern times, there is also a need to learn from him.

     Recently, I read the articles written by Yu Dan, the person who gives excellent lectures in Bai Jia Jiang Tan, about her understanding of Lun Yu. From her writing, I learn sth. new, sth.true, and sth.useful.

     First, many Chinese believe that everyone is born kind-hearted. In fact, Kong Zi never taught that. He just taught that everyone is born to tend to be kind. So we need education and social disciplines to keep us from evil. In this case, only with education, can a person be perfect.

     Second,about making friends. We should avoid the state of mind: high self-inportance. Because the world is made up of all individuals, you should never

fix all your attention on yourself if you want to make friends. Once I read a sentence which taught me a lot: It takes three years to make a friend when you talk about yourself;it takes three minutes to make a friend when you talk about him. To a degree, it's reasonable.

     Third,About great ambitions and feasible actions

Kong Zi believed that any great ambition is deeply rooted in the most honest virtues, in the self-perfect of personalities. We should search deep within our hearts before persuing high social status and abundant material.

     After reading Kong Zi's words,I conclude that life should not be always on the go, and we should smell the roses. Slow down your steps. Focus on your needs of your heart and soul. Tressure your friends and care about others more than yourself.

    Troditioal Korean clothing has its roots extending back at least as the Three Kindom Period,as evidenced by wall paintings in tombs from this period. The Korean clothing represents one of the most visible aspects of Korean culture.

    The top part is blouse-like with long sleeves with men's version being longer, streching down to the waist. Women wear skirts and men wear baggy pants. Commoners wear white except during festivals and special occasions such as weddings. Clothes for upper classes were made of bright colours and indicated the wearers'social status. Various accessories such as foot gear, jewelery and headdresses or hair pins completed the outfit.

     Then let's take a look at the traditional Cheongsam.  It is the troditional dress for Chinese women.In Qing Dinasty, women had dresses of Man style and Han style. Women of Man people wore gown while women of Han People wore blouse and skirts.  

     Cheongsam became popular in the 1920s. It was out of dresses of Man Peopleand greatly improved by Han people.   From then on,   Cheongsam kept popular for more than twenty years. The styles had been changed several times. It completely

showed women's beauty, thus making a great contribution to women's liberation.  We should notice that, women in the entertainment places made great contributions to Chengsam.  

      From 1930s, Cheonsam became popular among most women. Women in the countryside, rich women, workers, students all wore Cheongsam. Later, it spreaded overseas and worn by foreign women.

     I hate computer course. With long time staying here in front of the computer, I feel exhausted but I have to!   I am not good at it, so dealing with it is a great waste of time and money. You know whenever I work with it, I have awfully low efficiency. It makes me rather angry and disgusted. So it is lucky that I am not a computer major or I will commit suicide. However, I have to learn knowledge about it, have to use it, which is rather boring. I hope computers will disappear one day so that I needn't be bothered by it! God! Iknow that is impossible! So I have to stand it and learn it very well. But the frustration it brings to me makes me wanna cry. Everytime I type, I have to experience the super slow speed and feel jealous about the fast speed of the person who sits beside me and types fast. Can you imajine the feeling? God, I don't know when I can be good at typing so that I will not feel ashamed again and again!

 Where is my way out? Maybe it lies in my hard work of learning knowledge about the computer. I conquer it or it conquers me, that depends on me. I just feel so tired and bored of it at the moment. Is to learn what we have to learn a task we have to take? I remember many students who hate English have  to learn English hard. I remember in Senior High school I hated maths but I had to learn it to the point I wanted to cry out. In this society, many people are doing what they dislike. They don't like the jobs, but to support their families,they have to take them. Maybe their interests can never be developed, and their hobbies are nothing in front of the cruel reality. What else can they do?The situation is the same with mine. I hate the computer coure, but I have to take it because it is included in the exam and if I cannot pass it, it will bring worse results to me. So learn it even I want to cry out! Tolerate it however boring it is!Only in this way, can I survive in the present exam and the future competition.

       

   It is the first time that I spend time on beautifying my zone. I always ignore how things can be better.  Maybe  this is a bad habit. Living a hurry life makes me feel uneasy and  unable to calm down.  I ignore the beauty around me. But one thing that remains in my mind for a long time is the beautiful spring.It is golden spring time.Sunny spring time always keeps me company.Flowers blosom,becoming eye -catching.Every sunny afternoon. People gather together in the school playground. Three or two sit together,chatting and photograghing,phoning.Lovers enjoy the happy time by sitting together,sharing the warm sun and cool wind.People walking on the road seem to have high spirit, cause spring makes them fresh and confortable. 

   Before spring time, I only noticed there was only one kind of flower- Sweet-scented osmanthus. Now with spring,peach blossom and other unknown blossoms appear.I am so happy to see flowers everywhere around the schoolyard. Frankly, I feel my life is more lively with colouful flowers. Of course, I take photos of them in memory of the wonderful spring time. Hope spring lasts long, hope good mood in spring lasts long

    At this spring time, I have many dreams:  Go camping, climbing,  go for a picnic. The three-day vacation is approaching, and I plan to go outdoors to enjoy the beauty of this spring. And you?

 

      I  like  this  festival,  because it is full of fun.  But  only  when  my  friend  told  me of  that,  did  I  realize  the festival  came  to  me.  Haha,  what  am  I  doing  these  days,  I  forget  it!Ok,I will trick my friends,my family, teachers as much as I can.  God sends  this gift  to us  to  make  life  more  lively.  How can we ignore  god's kindness?

    I like to save  time for  English chatting and  learning,  so today I didn't go back to  the dorm room.  When I openned my QQ, I came acroos a friend, who I  didn't know  exactly.  Then we talked for  a  long time. Talking about his girlfriend, he told me he hasn't one at present.He asked me to introduce some of my fellow students to him.I responded that without their allowance, I was reluctant to. Then he said:"What about you? you needn't any allowance!"  God! He was so clever. Then I made up a story abut myself, telling him how perfect a girl I was.  Of  course he knew it, coz it is April Fool's Day!

    Am I fooled by him? If not,I think he is a brave boy and has made a further step. If so, I think he is a clever and smart boy.
