The phonetic exam has ended

      The  phonetic  exam  has  ended  just  now.   I  am  wondering  whether  I  have  done  a  good  job  or  not.    It  seemed  that  I  read  too  fast  and  I  even  stopped  halfway  while  reading  the  tonguetwister.    But  that  doesn't  matter,   because  I  have  faith  in  myself.   Compared  with  before,   What  is  more,  marks  can't  stand  for  everything. my  prounciation  and  internation  has been  greatly  improved  during  the  past  semester.   Of  course,  I  have  to  keep  on  practicing  because  practise  makes  perfect.

     Yesterday  after  the  oral  English  test,  the  English  teacher  told  me  that  I  have  a  strong  Chinese  accent  when  speaking  English.   I  consulted  Monica  and  she  told  me  to  decide  the  type  of  the  English  I  want  to  have first  and  then  imitate  it  by  listenning  to  it  and  watching  movies.   I  think  it  is  a  good  idea.

     The  English  teacher  also  asked  us  to  make  friends  with  foreigners  to  learn  English  from  them  especially  to  improve  our  oral  English  by  talking  with  them.   I  think  it  is too  difficult  to  me,  because  there  are  only  two  foreign  teachers  in  my  class.   I  have  no  opportunities  to  make  friends  with  them.   To  date  them,   call  them,  invite   them  to  dinners?   Unimajinable!

     I  know the  best  way  to  speak  perfect  English  is  to  go  abroad.   How  I  hope  I  can  surpport  my  travel  abroad!
