春节期间，闲来无事，在这个网站上http://www.theinterviewwithgod.com/看到并听到了这样一篇文章，觉得挺好。用汉语又写了一遍，留在这里了。

            The Interview with God 与上帝的会面

I dreamed that I HAD AN INTERVIEW WITH GOD.

我梦见与上帝见了一面。

“So you would like to interview me?” God asked.

“你要见我？”上帝问？

“If you have the time.” I said. “如果你有时间的话”。我说。

God smiled. 上帝笑了。

“My time is the eternity… “我的时间就是永恒”。

What questions do you have in mind for me?”

“你有什么问题要问我？”

“What surprises you most about humankind?”

“什么使你对人类感到最惊奇？”

God answered… 上帝回答说…

“That they get bored of childhood, and they rush to grow up, and then long to be children again.”  “他们厌烦了童年，急急忙忙的长大，然后盼望着重新回到童年”。

“That they lose their health to make money…，and then lose their money to restore their health.” “他们以健康为代价去挣钱，然后花钱去买回健康”。

“That by thinking anxiously about the future, they forget the present, such that they live in neither the present nor the future.”

“在为未来着急的时候，他们忘记了现在，这样一来未来和现在都不属于他们”。

 “That they live as if they will never die, and they die as though they had never lived.” “他们活者，就好像永远不会死去一样，然后他们死了，就如同从来没有活过一样”。

God’s hand took mine, and we were silent for awhile.

上帝拉着我的手，我们沉默了一会儿。

And then I asked. 然后我问道，

“As a parent, what are some of life’s lessons that you want your children to learn?” “作为父母，生活中那些教训你希望你的孩子们去记取？”

“To learn they cannot make anyone love them. All they can do is let themselves be loved.” “要知道他们不可能使每个人都爱他们，他们所能做的只有使自己被爱。”

“To learn that it is not good to compare themselves to others.

“不要拿自己和别人做比较。”

“To learn to forgive by practicing forgiveness.”

“在践行宽宥中去学会宽宥。”

“To learn that it only takes a few seconds to open profound wounds in those they love, and it can take many years to heal them.”

“揭开别人的伤疤只要几秒钟，治愈却需要许多年。”

“To learn that a rich person is not one who has the most, but is one who needs the least.” “富人不是拥有最多的，而是需要最少的。”

“To learn that there are people who love them dearly, but simply do not yet know how to express or show their feelings.”

“总是有人去深切的爱他们，只是他们不知道怎样表达罢了。”

“To learn that two people can look at the same thing and see it differently.” “两个人看同一个问题意见往往不同。”

“To learn that it is not enough that they forgive one another, but they must also forgive themselves.”

“只有互相原谅还远远不够，他们还需要原谅他们自己。”

“Thank you for your time.” I said humbly. “谢谢你”我谦恭地说。

“Is there anything else that you’d like your children to know?”

“你还要你的孩子们知道什么？”

God smiled and said… 上帝笑着说，

“Just know that I am here.  “我在这里，

“Always.”  永远。”
