What is the use of it?

New Roman">             What is the use of it?

To keep the national unity of a country is so important. On hearing the disturbances and loses in Tibet some of my friends enquired into the necessity to keep Tibet as one part of our country.

It is common sense to every Chinese that the government pays a lot of money to assist the Tibetans to have a better life. There is no financial income from Tibet. But some people, for their invidious and perfidious purposes, have committed so atrocious a crime to return evil for good. So it is understandable for my friends to make such remarks.

Yes, financially speaking there is no need to keep it. However, we are all citizens of one country. The government has full responsibilities to help us live a better life, whether the place we live in is fertile or sterile. We belong to the country. It is like our mother, who cares nothing for our belongings and property. We are indiscriminately loved by her. Does anyone love a mother who deserts any of her poor children? So it is the responsibility to take the poor son as her child and try to breed him as well as possible.

Nevertheless, the mother will be very sad if she takes care of, or even coddles the poor child in such a way and has been disowned and rebuffed the motherhood. Can anyone with good conscience think it right?

Of course, the people who claimed responsibility for the riot are only those who are followers of Dalai Lama, and those who have been misleading. Cultural and ethnical differences are easily utilized as excuses for making such strife. Any attempts like this should be denounced and boycotted.

No matter we are useful to our country or not, our motherland will indiscriminately accept us all. What is the use for us to make troubles like this?

Chinese people always think splistists are bad....but to those splistists, maybe you guys are bad and control freaks....--------------------------
Whatever it is, i don't want to say china being disintegrated. i firmly believe that all splicists are bad. however i don't think protestors are all bad. They may do everything they can to have their voice heard except riots, killings and arson.

if it was not Dalai Lama, who else could be responsible for such atrocities?
-----------------------
Piggy, you need to understand that I am not fond of Dalai Lama...I just judge him based on all the informations reported by medias such as your CCTV, CNN and others....

First, I heard both negative and positive ones.....then I make up my own mind on him....

Chinese people always think splistists are bad....but to those splistists, maybe you guys are bad and control freaks....

Dalai Lama is reponsible for people who believe in him BUT there are so many monks who are so well controlled and cannot contact with Dalai Lama......

As you can see on the videos, those violent protestors were almost common Tibetans...NOT monks......

Just be asking me "if it is not him, who else?" cannot convince anyone that Dalai Lama directed the protest....

And also, why is there must be a person accountable for the protest????

A group of extremists can get pissed off by sth...and start a violent protest.....

Honestly, when those violent ones were damaging stuff, there were thousands of monks sitting outside somewhere (not sure where it is, looks like some CCP's offical building) quietly.....and the troops came along and arrested them, beated them......it is not funny, I tell you, mate...it is brutal.....

who is responsible for the atrocity?

the violent extremists and the CCP's troops who beat up monks....

a better life in your eyes may turn to a enformance and disaster in others..... --------------------
i agree with you on this point.
what is more, i don't believe in Dalai Lama's words just as you don't believe in the chinese government's. maybe he was only paying lip services.
if it was not Dalai Lama, who else could be responsible for such atrocities?

a better life cannot be determined by you or your communist...

You may give them money, houses, cars...but they may only want access to their leader, to keep their religions, language and freedom....

In that case, a better life in your eyes may turn to a enformance and disaster in others.....

And withour firm evidence, you cannot say this riot is directed and ordered by Dalai Lama....

You cannot just guess.....your communist tries to tell you this...then they need facts to backup their accusation.....

also I have anotehr question for you:

if Tibetans can solve their problems in a peaceful way, why they prefer to go violent?

Because the CCP has been pressing them and nationalizing them instead of listening to them, in the end, they have to choose a protest although they know it is not legal in China....although they know they may get killed in this portest...

For years, the CCP describe the Dalai Lama as a evil person,

But the truth is he won the Nobel Peace Prize....

The communist tries to be unfair on him and the Chinese people have been blinded by the same story which your government have been keeping telling you......

Have you ever read his books?

I read two so far.....in one of the books, he said: "violence can never solve the problem deep down.... genuine harmony must come from the heart not from the barrel of a gun."

He also wrote "a true buddhist should not follow everything in their religion but to face and search the science in the world and the course of reason."

he has led his people for 68 years which is the most seasoned ruler on the earth so far....longer than Queen Elizabeth II ....

While some people call for boycott Beijing Olympics, he stood out in the media and said to the world: "Olympic shouldn't have anything to do with politics...it is about sport! It is not fair to take it away from Chinese people because they deserve it !"

While your commuist called him a evil enemy
, he said to those Tibetans who hate Chinese:

"calling Chinese your enemy and Tibetans your friends, is just as crazy as calling your right eye your ally and your left your adversary....destruction of your enemy is destruction of yourslef.....hate can never solve the problem between tibetans and Chinese...."

Piggy, don;t rush to hate Dalai Lama or blame the wetsern media....

Just ask yourself one question, only one qeustion:

for all those years, any news about Dalai Lama which you have heard......are they all written by your communist???

Have you ever heard any posotive comment about this person from your communist???

I am not a religious person...but imagine that 98% of Tibetans in the world have no access to their spiritual leader and Tibetans are also banned to learn their own language at school in China......

If you were on of them, what will you feel?

Religion is not permitted in China.....you may argue that it is because you do have religious people ....but for so many times when the Rome Cathlic Church ask to enter China, they are always rejected, always...

That's why you never meet Cathlic, prethbaterians, Mormons in China...because those religions are not allowed to enter in China.....

Here is the point:

"You either keep quiet and accept what we give you, you either get arrested."

When you have 2 choices at front of you like that, your human rights have been completely ignored.....

I so agree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But the point is how to keep a country as a whole.....

Like your communist to crack down on protestors brutally?

No, that can never keep your country as  a whole...that only creates more hates from the monks!

Fake harmony means your country has already been splited......

I am not supporting Tibet seperate from China (the case here is different from Taiwan)....but I agree that the way your government treats the protestors is wrong......

You ignore people's feeling and voice, you will never keep a country as a whole.......
