    New Roman" size=4>I don't know what the reason is. I am feeling that I am becoming decadent.

    I set no goal in my life. What I do every day is to finish my job and then nothing else is done. I am not so old as not to do anything in my life. I know I should do something. I don't know. As a teacher there is nothing significant for me to do. What is the worst, I am tired of the present education system. Even the government officials of Educational department, are only concerned about the possibility for a rise in ranks. Most of the government officials are corrupt. Even a petty official who is in charge of something makes every effort to obtain financial benefits from the society.

    Our new country has a history of only about fifty years. however, as many people know, has been corrupt to the last core. Even though from the latest reports about the earthquake that there are a lot of officials have been making their efforts for the society, espeicically those victims in SiChuan.

    What should i do? Should i waste this life in this way? I don't know.

Can i say that there are some mistakes in the sentence? can i point it out? In my opinion it should be rewritten as thus:
And if i were you, i would feel lucky to have a  steady teaching job.
"fixed" mean to "make firm or fast" or "fasten something to one position so that it can not be movoed",but what you mean is a job that i can keep for long.
I would like to hear your opinions.

perhaps everyone has an insatiable desire for things they don't  have while neglect all those they have.

I once had the  same situation, but it's lucky that I found a badly effective way to solve this matter.

for me, it worked,indeed, and works now. that is, Don't let your thoughts control your actions, but control your thoughts with your actions. Don't  think it again and again and  again, just  do it.,

You can set others goals besides finishing your regular work. Find some spice for your life then you will feel better. And if I were you, I would feel very be lucky to have a fixed teaching job. You know, nowadays, the unemployment rate is high and it's difficult for graduates to be employed. In a word, be optimistic because every coin has two sides.
