A way to a peaceful world

New Roman" color=#000066 size=4>I came across a HK TV program today and was so touched by a comment made by the host of that program.

He said , if we were given an opportunity to lobby the countries who spend moneys only on millitary matters , we should ask those contries to spend at least 5% of their millitary budget on supporting young generation in spending ratively long time in different contries to understand different values and cultures of different civilizations . Warfare is a result of lack of understanding about different civilizations that exit in different part of world . By implementing the above strategy , we believe there would no longer be needs of wars but more respects and loves toward each other .

I feel this is a very likely idea that could possibly piece the torn world together someday.

Its so true that people fight with each other  because they lack effective communications. Often , people talk too much about their differences and forget that actually they have more things in common .The current world is in a desperate need of a big wisdom beyond culures and races  to bring the whole world together rather than split it .

I guess thats why they say that Bush will go down as the  worst president in the American history  because he should have never announced the war in the first place.
