1、Please tell us about your work experience.
"Work experience" is the type of work you've done in the past. If you haven't started working yet you can say, "Right now I'm still a student" or "I'm a recent grad and I haven't started working yet." In the second sentence, "recent grad" is short for "recent graduate" and means that you have just finished school.
Right now I'm still a student."(现在我还是个学生。) I'm a recent grad and I haven't started working yet."(我刚刚毕业,还没有开始工作。)" 2、What's your greatest weakness?
This is a popular question that western employers like to ask to make candidates nervous! In fact, they ask this to know how you respond to difficult questions. You shouldn't answer by telling your greatest weakness since you might not get the job! Instead, you can tell them something that isn't directly related to the job position.
3、Why do you feel you are qualified for this job?
This question is a good opportunity to brag a little bit. You should talk about some extra skills you have that maybe weren't included in your resume, or talk about your greatest strength in more detail.
4、What kind of salary did you have in mind? _Salary is how much money you earn, usually per year. When asked this, it's best to answer with a salary range or approximation and not an exact figure. This shows that you are familiar with the industry if you know what the approximate salary should be.
5、If hired, when could you start work?
When answering this, it's best not to say you can start right away. This might make you seem very desperate for the job. A safe answer would be "I can start at the beginning of next month."

The time you spend at the office may be the most stressful part of your day, but it doesn't have to be. You have a greater ability to shape your office environment than you may realize.
Take breaks(小憩) throughout the day. It will help clear your mind and relieve pressure. Something as simple as going to the water cooler for a drink may do the trick(达到目的).
Enroll in a noontime or an after-work exercise class(健身培训). This will give you a chance to unwind(放松) and a way to relieve stress.
To help your workday go smoothly, try pacing your activities(有条不紊地安排工作): Do more demanding work(要求较高的工作) in the morning, when your energy level is higher, and easier work later in the day, when you may be tired.
Try listening to music recordings, such as a pounding surf or songbirds(海浪拍打岩石或鸟儿歌唱的声音), to help you relax. Such tapes are sold commercially. Use headphones if you'll be listening to them in the middle of the workday.
Get to work early or stay late once a week. You may be able to accomplish more when you vary your routine. If your stress comes from job insecurity, take stock of(评估) yourself. Update your resume, and remind yourself of your skills and strengths. Also, make sure you keep up with new developments in your field. This will make you valuable to employers.
Don't let work rumors, which are usually false, cause you worry. A co-worker may just be thinking out loud about worst-case scenarios(最坏的情况).

“You're not a student,are you?”
“Yes,I am.”
(“No,I am not.”)
Can I help you?
What can I do for you?
Hi/Hello!
Good morning/afternoon/evening/night!
How are you?
It's a lovely day,isn't it?
“You can speak very good French.”
“Thank you.”
“It's a wonderful dish!”
“I am glad you like it.”
所以,学生要注意当说英语的人称赞你时,千万不要回答:“No,I don't think so.”
Hello,this is John speaking.”
“Could I speak to Tom please?”
“Is that Mary speaking?”
“Hello,52164768,this is Jim.”
“Hello,who are you please?”
“Very beautiful!Wow!”
“What a wonderful gift it is!”
“Thank you for your present.”
Chinese student:Mr.White,you are so pale,are you sick?
English teacher:Well...yes.I have got a bad cold for several days.
Chinese student:Well,you should go to a clinic and see the doctor as soon as possible.
English teacher:Er...what do you mean?
因此,只要回答:“I'm sorry to hear that.”
2008-04-26 19:35:58
How to Grow Happiness
Step one:
Plant yourself deep in a bed of faith, and pack it down solid and tight. Drench daily with positive thinking, and keep saturated just right. Mulch often with forgivenss, for this will help you grow. Quickly remove any seeds of worry, for they will soon germinate, and keep out the weeds of despair. Nourish disappointments with hope whenever it is neeeded, and always stay cool and shaded when you feel irritated or heated. Trim away guilt or depression, for they create decay, and cultivate with happy memories as often as every day. Step two:
Harvest the lessons of the past; just dig, pick, and hoe. And nurture the roots of the present, for now is when you flourish and grow. Start planting for the future; set your goals in a row. Spade the bed well for all your dreams to grow. Step three:
Remember that grief is a natural predator, so learn to tolerate some damage. Protect your garden with daily prayers, for this will help you manage. Bury the criticism and complaining, for they are injurious pests. Sow the seed of love wherever you may go--for joy, love, and laughter are surely bound to grow. Although the thorns of life may be here to stay, just sprout a smile along the way...and be thankful for what you have today!
2008-04-24 20:03:18
Write Your Own Life
Suppose someone gave you a pen – a sealed, solid-colored pen.
You couldn’t see how much ink it had. It might run dry after the first few tentative words or last just long enough to create a masterpiece (or several) that would last forever and make a difference in the scheme of things. You don‘t know before you begin.
Under the rules of the game, you really never know. You have to take a chance!
Actually, no rule of the game states you must do anything. Instead of picking up and using the pen, you could leave it on a shelf or in a drawer where it will dry up, unused.
But if you do decide to use it, what would you do with it? How would you play the game?
Would you plan and plan before you ever wrote a word? Would your plans be so extensive that you never even got to the writing?
Or would you take the pen in hand, plunge right in and just do it, struggling to keep up with the twists and turns of the torrents of words that take you where they take you?
Would you write cautiously and carefully, as if the pen might run dry the next moment, or would you pretend or believe (or pretend to believe) that the pen will write forever and proceed accordingly?
And of what would you write: Of love? Hate? Fun? Misery? Life? Death? Nothing? Everything?
Would you write to please just yourself? Or others? Or yourself by writing for others?
Would your strokes be tremblingly timid or brilliantly bold? Fancy with a flourish or plain?
Would you even write? Once you have the pen, no rule says you have to write. Would you sketch? Scribble? Doodle or draw?
Would you stay in or on the lines, or see no lines at all, even if they were there? Or are they?
There‘s a lot to think about here, isn‘t there?
Now, suppose someone gave you a life...

I love you not for whom you are, but who I am when I'm by your side.
No person deserves your tears, and who deservers them won't make you cry.
Just because someone doesn't love you as you wish, it doesn't mean you're not loved with all his/her being.
A true friend is the one who holds your hand and touches your heart.
The worst way to miss someone is to be seated by his/her side and know you'll never have him/her.
Never stop smiling, not even when you're sad, someone might fall in love with your smile.
You may only be a person in this world, but for someone, you're the world.
Don't spend time with someone who doesn't care spending it with you.
Maybe God wants you to meet many wrong people before you meet the right one, so when this happens, you'll be thankful.
Don't cry because it came to an end. Smile because it happened.
There will always be people who'll hurt you, so you need to continue trusting, just be careful.
Be sure to know who you are before meeting someone new and hoping that person knows who you are.

It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return. But what is more painful is to love someone and never find the courage to let that person know how you feel.
A sad thing in life is when you meet someone who means a lot to you,only to find out in the end that it was never meant to be and you just have to let go.
The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch swing with,never say a word,and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.
It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.
It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone,an hour to like someone,and a day to love someone- but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.
Don't go for looks;they can deceive. Don't go for wealth;even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright.
Dream what you want to dream;go where you want to go;be what you want to be,because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.
Always put yourself in the other's shoes. If you feel that it hurts you,it probably hurts the person too.
A careless word may kindle strife;a cruel word may wreck a life;a timely word may level stress;a loving word may heal and bless.
The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.
Love begins with a smile,grows with a kiss,ends with a tear. When you were born,you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die,you're the one smiling and everyone around you is crying.

Youth 青春
2008-04-02 16:10:52
Youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees; it is a matter of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of the emotions; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life.Youth means a tempera-mental predominance of courage over timidity, of the appetite for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20. Nobody grows old merely by a number of years. We grow old by deserting our ideals.
Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. Worry, fear, self-distrust bows the heart and turns the spring back to dust.
Whether 60 or 16, there is in every human being’s heart the lure of wonder, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living. In the center of your heart and my heart there is a wireless station: so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope, cheer, courage and power from men and from the Infinite, so long are you young.
When the aerials are down, and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old, even at 20, but as long as your aerials are up, to catch waves of optimism, there is hope you may die young at 80.

Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one,so that when we finally meet the person,we will know how to be grateful.
Don't cry because it is over,smile because it happened.

If you can 1)keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But 2)make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or, being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise;
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with triumph and disaster
And treat those two 3)impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by 4)knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stoop and build ’em up with 5)worn-out tools;
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of 6)pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and 7)sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: “Hold on !”;
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch;
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds “worth of distance run”
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And - which is more - you’ll be a Man my son!
你仍能保持头脑清醒;
你仍能坚信自己,让所有的怀疑动摇;
不要太乐观,不要自以为是;
如果你是个追梦人--不要被梦主宰;
如果你是个爱思考的人--不要以思想者自居;
把两者当骗子看待;
俯下身去,用破旧的工具把它修补;
不要抱怨你的失败;
只有意志告诉你“坚持!”;
伴王同行,能保持距离;
如果仇敌和好友都不害你;
如果所有人都指望你,却无人全心全意;

If the world were a Village of 100 People
2008-04-02 16:00:58
David J.Smith/大卫.
If we could shrink the earth’s population to a village of precisely 100 people, with all the existing human ratios remaining the same, it would look something like the following:
There would be:
57 Asians
21 Europeans
10 from the Western Hemisphere, both north and south
8 Africans
52 would be female
48 would be male
70 would be non-while
30 would be white
70 would be non-christian
30 would be Christian
89 would be heterosexual
11 would be homosexual
6 people would possess 59% of the entire world’s wealth
and all 6 would be from the United States.
80 would live in substandard housing
70 would be unable to read
50 would suffer from malnutrition
1 would be near death; 1 would be near birth
1(yes, only 1) would have a college education
1 would own a computer
When one considers our world from such a compressed perspective, the need for acceptance, understanding and education becomes glaringly apparent.
The following is also something to ponder……
If you woke pup this morning with more health than illness……you are more blessed than the million who will not survive this week.
If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation…you are ahead of 500 million people in the world.
If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep… you are richer than 75% of this world.
If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in dish someplace…you are among the top 8% of the world’s wealth.
If your parents are still alive and still married…you are very rare, even in the United Stated and Canada.
Someone once said: What goes around comes around.
So…
Work live you don’t need the money.
Love like you’ve never been hurt.
Dance like nobody’s watching.
Sing like nobody’s listening.
Live like it’s Heaven on Earth.

The Blue Day Book
Everybody has blue days.
These are miserable days when you feel lousy, grumpy, lonely, and utterly exhausted.
Days when you feel small and insignificant,
when everything seems just out of reach.
You can’t rise to the occasion.
Just getting started seems impossible.
On blue days you can become paranoid that everyone is out to get you.
This is not always such a bad thing.
You feel frustrated and anxious, which can induce a nail-biting frenzy that can escalate into a triple-chocolate-mud-cake-eating frenzy in a blink of an eye!
On blue days you feel like you’re floating in an ocean of sadness.
You’re about to burst into tears at any moment and you don’t even know why.
Ultimately, you feel like you’re wandering through life without purpose.
You’re not sure how much longer you can hang on,
and you feel like shouting, “Will someone please shout me!”
It doesn’t take much to bring on a blue day.
You might just wake up not feeling or looking your best,
find some new wrinkles, put on a little weight, or get a huge pimple on your nose.
You could forget your date’s name or have an embarrassing photograph published.
You might get dumped, divorced, or fired, make a fool of yourself in public, be afflicted with a demeaning nickname,
or just have a plain old bad-hair day.
Maybe work is a pain in the butt.
You’re under major pressure to fill someone else’s shoes,
your boss is picking on you,
and everyone in the office is driving you crazy.
You might have a splitting headache,
or a slipped dish, bad breath, a toothache, chronic gas, dry lips,
or a nasty ingrown toenail.
Whatever the reason, you’re convinced that someone up there doesn’t like you.
Oh what to do, what to do?
Well, if you’re like most people,
you’ll hide behind a flimsy belief that everything will sort itself out.
Then you’ll spend the rest of your life looking over your shoulder,
waiting for everything to go wrong all over again.
All the while becoming crusty and cynical or a pathetic, sniveling victim.
Until you get so depressed that you lie down and beg the earth to swallow you up or, even worse, become addicted to Billy Joel songs.
This is crazy,
because you’re only young once and you’re never old twice
