8.上海外语口译证书考试培训火热
记者近日获悉，2008年春季参加上海外语口译证书考试的考生人数达到5万6千多人，而去年同期为5万余人,同比增长15%，是历年来中高级口译春季报名人数最多的一年。

　　据了解，自1995年3月上海外语高级口译和1997年上海外语中级口译考试推广以来，考english暑假生人数一直处于飙升阶段。从开考以来，该证书考级、培训人群多以在校大学生为主体，逐步向低年龄层以及在职人士延伸，目前，在职白领是参加该考试的主要人群之一。在上海，合资、外资企业较多，该类企业的管理岗位要求员工具备外语实际运用能力，因而越来越多的白领通过学习中高级口译作为提升自身综合竞争力的“秘密武器”。 除了考生人数上的增长，从地域来说，上海外语中高级口译考试的影响也已经从上海逐步渗透到了全国其他省市。

　　目前，开办上海外语口译证书考试培训班的外语培训机构分为高校下属培训机构和民办培训机构两种。记者了解到，经上海外语口译证书考试主办方——上海市高校浦东继续教育中心审核批准，开办该证书考试培训的机构有上海外国语大学外语培训中心、上海交通大学外国语学院培训中心、上海新世界进修中心、上海市昂立进修学院、上海杨浦区新东方进修学校（即上海新东方学校）、上海贝尔语言学校、无锡市english暑假私立精英培训学校、昆明世纪青年外国语培训中心、鲁东大学（原烟台师范学院）外国语学院等。

　　根据学员的不同需求，上海外语中、高级口译证书考试培训课程大多分为走读、住宿、基础、强化、冲刺等多种班型，其培训费用从400元至4500元不等。除了传统的培训班型外，上海新东方学校还开办了高级译员研修班。参加该研修班的学员除了以english暑假通过上海外语高级口译证书考试为培训目的外，还希望继续提高其口译水准、进入国内、外同传和交传领域，成为高级译员。据了解，该培训课程的内容除了听力、阅读、笔译、口译口语等环节外，还添加了同传/交传培训，高级演讲技巧和澳洲翻译资格笔译培训等板块。
