The heaven of animals

In my last blog, I refered to four animals. In fact, I have to say India is  the heaven of animals. If someone asks me how about India or what is the thing that impressed me most. I will tell him that it's the most harmonious relation between human and animals, without any hesitation. Yes, it is.  It's the first time that I have gotten the harmony with animals. If you come here, you can find so many interesting situations. You can find monkeies playing in the roadside, dogs and oxs without owner walking on the street,  elephants proceeding at a slow pace. They do not ever avoid humans, only with humans and their vehicles to avoid themselves. It's really a heaven of animals here. 

Actually, this harmony, is not only a externally performance, it has been existing inside Indian mind for a long time, all along. When I came to here for the first time, I was so surprised to find that a lot of people abstain from eating meal, they are all vegetarians.  Then I was much curious.  I have learned that there are so many religions in India, including Hinduism,Islam, Christianism and so on. and there are also so many taboos brought from them. So I had thought it is religion that restrict people from meat.  Later, with the more and more contact with native, I start to got their real minds. Then I know I failed. Actually,  a lot of Indian think the animals are human good friends. Human should live in good harmony with them, not to hurt or kill them.  In the street , you can find so many animals, Crows, pigeons, sparrows, dogs and so on, they are living freely. It is very usual to find a sparrow eating food in a restaurant. Last week, when I was having my lunch, a sparrow fly to the desk ahead of me as if it did not caught sight of me. Please refer to my harvest during my lunch. Actually, I have gotten it for many times.

I'm meat-eating and yet I'll try to do good to all around animals. I hope you can do it too.
