Mumbai's car, very special.

I had thought to write something about car in Mumbai, as I think it's very special and interesting for me, a Chinese from Shenzhen. This morning, I just got a good chance to make some photos. You can refer to the following pictures to get something. Please check them now.

If you are careful, you would find that all the cars in these pictures have no left rearview mirrors with them. If you could find any car without rearview mirror in China, you maybe feel special. Yet, here, it is very common. I can tell you that all cars producted by demostic plants in India are the same with the above cars. You can find many local brands, such as MARUTI, TATA and so forth, they are all the same.

I'm not sure why it is. Yet I can tell you that in India all the vehicles run on the left side of the road and the driver seat is on the right. So I have a little inspiration on it now. Firstly, I think it is because in India, all the driver just need to care for the right side and in order to save the cost, so a lot of people owning car keep the left empty. I also find that all the cars by foreign plans have rearview mirrors in both sides, such as TOYOTA.BMW,HONDA and so on. The foreigners are all religious.

Secondly, I think it's relative to the traffic status in India. In fact, the traffic is very bad. If there is no policeman nearby, then most of pedestrians and drivers make a little care for the traffic. If a light collision happened, both them will overlook it. Last time, I have learned that my friend's driver did a fast driver and make collision with a motorcycle, the motorcycle driver fall down from it and can not move for a while. Five minutes later, the injured driver recoverd. Yet he only said something angrily and left without any request for compensation. As you know, in China, everywhere, it's impossible. ^_^, Got a lot only to tell you that the traffic here is very confused and yet the Indian people is very tolerant.

On the other hand, the traffic policeman do also not care the vehicle's status and they just care the drive license.

By the way, to tell something about the policeman:

The driver for us have ever been fired three times for his license. Yet everytime, his license is valid. Just policeman want to check and then he can take it away for some strange reasons. He have to pay one or two hundrends rubes to get the drive license back. He tole me that all his friends have been fired for some strange reason. I had thought that India is a alleged democratic country  and yet the policeman is also not so democratic and public.
