Road packman in Mumbai

The packman in the road has become a special scene of this city. In domestic city, packman often select a busy street to stay and occupys a fixe market. Yet, here is differnet. The packman always go the rounds near the crossroad to sale their little sundries.

When you drive outside, you will find some packmen here and there along the road. These packmen often stay nearby the crossroad with traffic light. When your car is stopped before traffic light, the packman might come to you and show their goods.

They usually sale different goods according to different weather. If it was a rainy day, then the goods to be sold are very little, only some umbrella, raincoat and other rainproof utilities. If it was a sunny day, then so many good can be sold, such as unbrella (used to cover sunshine), fruit, magazine, video cd and so on.

Last sunday, I went out for a shopping by car. When my car was stopped in a crossroad, one packman come close from left side of my car and show rose to me. When I was surprised of the beautiful white rose in his hand, someone knock at the right window. Another guy was showing his magazine to me. The driver hint me not to response.
