sing a different tune/sing another song改变论调,往往还含有某人的言行一反既往的意思

dance to another tune一改以往作风。它的意思相当于中国成语改弦易辙

tune in喜欢或者欣赏;never tune in on意思是向来不喜欢

tune sb out解释漠视某人的意见

out of tune with格格不入

The followings are a passage using the phrazes above written by myself:)

 I believe that all men hope to rule the roost when they are little.However,as they grow up,they find that they can't wear the pants,thus,they forget their wish to be a top dog.

  I believe that when we are little,we try to lay all the cards onthe table.However,since we become mature,we think nothing can be done without changing hands under the table.In other words,we don't think we can tune the table by ourselves.

  You can say you never tune in on the contemporary life.But you can't go off half-cocked.Never being a shot in the dark again!

  It's never too late to change your tune.I believe you won't be out of tune with the changing times .

   Hooray!
